    I recently purchased the ZOOM F2 and I'm using it with the included lavalier microphone. However, my recordings are coming out very quiet. In your video, the audio seems much louder. Could you please share any tips or settings you used to achieve that?

    • @kenjihorvath3163
      @kenjihorvath3163 Місяць тому

      I don’t recall the settings but because it is a 32 bit recording you won’t peak as much but the sound may be quieter. You can adjust the gain in post production in davinci resolve or whatever your audio/video software is. It is good to post process your audio regardless because microphones are not perfect and how people talk isn’t the same. So you can drop the harsh sounds in post to make the audio sound more soothing to the listener.

Lol, dont bother with stinky towel and save yourself some time. Just get a screw driver and unscrew 2 screws and remove the grill! If it looks ugly spray some black spray inside. You can create a cover not for a sound dampening but for a looks. Also w that much layers of towels you preventing from air flow!

    awesome for noise- what's the temp. in your studio after an hour with no AC? No way this will work in hotter climates, normal residential for rooms. If you build more like a box that's a couple inches thick, with one side open, and open the vent so it's quieter, you will have something. The magnets are brilliant!

      So I can’t give you any official safety tips but I wouldn’t imagine it would be dangerous. However you need to keep in mind that using something like this completely blocks the vent thus making it useless for its purpose of regulating temperature. I built mine so I could temporarily silence my vents while recording something, not as a permanent thing.

    Good vid, thank's for the info on the lens. I have a Rf 70-200mm f4 and I was thinking to selling it to buy this Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 G2 because I do weddings and events. Do you think this move would be an upgrade or a down grade to my kit?

    • @poutineitup9510
      @poutineitup9510 Рік тому

      Thanks. That is hard to say. There is no Tamron G2 for the RF mount so you would have to get an EF mount version and adopt it. I went from Nikon to canon so decided to go purely with RF glass. I got the 70-200 F2.8 and I do not regret purchase one bit. If you take care of your lenses it should last like 10 years so I would say just save up and bite the bullet for the 70-200 F2.8 RF lens. If you don’t mind using the EF adapter then this tamron would be a good choice quality wise. It’ll be heavier and bulkier than the RF 70-200 F2.8. So just keep that in mind when making your choice.

    they are wors the audiotechnica M40x and BD they cost probably the same as AT but sound way below my expectarions , I got CX 3.00 and 569 sound like cheap headphones I am using on desktop pc and smartphone

      Thanks for sharing your opinion. Did you break them in or are they brand new? I find headphones sound different when they are brand new but tend to sound better after they are broken in.

      @@poutineitup9510 brand new and I never customize EQ levels only bass , years ago I used for very long Creative EP 630 , there are sound signatures I don't know what signature they had creatives , I also bought Sundiomagic 10 sounded not balanced probably would sound good in on hig quality files and things like fioo

      It is a solid lens and I enjoyed it until I moved to Canon. I’m still waiting on canon to start allowing third party lenses with auto focus.

    Can this use for studii monitoring?

    • @poutineitup9510
      @poutineitup9510 Рік тому

      Good question. The hd6xx’s may be a better option for studio monitoring but it depends how much accuracy you are looking for
