The stunning autumn landscapes and subtle background music you've chosen, effortlessly complements the supreme beauty found in the words of this poem, on eternal love. This kind of love transcends mortality and time. His love merges with all loves past and present. When it comes to Tagore's works, sometimes its difficult to discern, if his heartfelt love is the for a woman or for the Almighty - the connection between a soul and the divine. Nevertheless, it reflects his deep passion and the devotional side of love, far above the physical aspect. In one line, the poet compares his object of devotion/ passion to the Polestar which penetrates all the darkness of pessimism and enlightens him. At the same time, this poem could've been written for a woman whom the poet loves the most. Their love is old, yet it is renewed forever. In her, he finds universality and the memory of them together is everlasting. I wonder, does it really exist? We'll never decipher, what exactly was in the mind of the writer. Quando leggo le opere della maggior parte degli autori, visualizzo le cose e sembra che manchi qualcosa o sia incompleto.
