Location: Molveno lake (Trentino, Italy) my new and old footage
CURIOSITA'
Lago dai colori splendidi, acqua piuttosto fredda, ma pulitissima.
Si può dire che questo lago sia simile ad una vasca con un ricambio continuo dell'acqua😊 viene infatti principalmente alimentato da una cascata artificiale dove sono canalizzate le acque che scendono dalle Dolomiti di Brenta, poi a circa 50 metri di profondità vi sono delle tubazioni che aspirano l'acqua per convogliarla alla centrale elettrica un km a valle. Trattandosi quindi di acque correnti si può comprendere come siano abbastanza fredde anche d'estate, ma per contro risultano pulitissime (si dice che sia il lago più pulito d'Italia).
Ogni dieci anni durante l'inverno il lago viene svuotato fino alle tubazioni per permettere la pulizia delle stesse, ed anche dei fondali delle rive......la ciclopica operazione dura circa sette mesi compreso il graduale nuovo riempimento che si raggiunge poco prima dell'inizio della stagione estiva.
CURIOSITY
Lake with splendid colors, rather cold water, but very clean because it's like a bath tub with a continuous turnover of water😊 indeed the lake is mainly fed by an artificial waterfall where the waters from the mountains around (Brenta Dolomites) come down, then at about 50 meters deep there are pipelines sucking the water to convey it to the electric power plant one kilometer downstream. Because these are current waters, so you can understand how they are quite cold even in summer, but on the other hand they are very clean (Molveno Lake is considered the cleanest in Italy).
Every ten years during the winter the lake is emptied up to the pipelines to allow them to be cleaned. The entire work takes about seven months including the gradual re-filling of the lake which is reached just before the start of the summer season.

From your description, I can understand that the creation and maintenance of Molveno lake is an outstanding engineering feat. What an amazing capture of the artificial waterfall which feeds the lake! The turquoise blue, crystal clear waters of Lake Molveno reminds me of Lake Trüebsee (Engelberg) in the Swiss Alps, which I've been to. Molveno is a beautiful and very relaxing place where for some years I spend my mountain holidays in Summer🌄the lake does not have a dam so it's a natural lake, but also an excellent example of hydraulic engineering to create clean energy😊I try to create short work because the average viewing time of my videos doesn't exceed two minutes, so why waste effort❓🤣😖🤣

Dear Ad... I don't like YT.... Interessantissime informazioni...ma non sarà per queste "cure " che quell'alga che rendeva l'acqua rossa è praticamente sparita? Grandissimo fascino nelle tue riprese, riesci a fare poesia con la macchina fotografica e la cinepresa il che dimostra ancora una volta che tutto nasce da dentro...grazie caro Ad, un abbraccio
hai ragione a domandarti se siamo in Italia👍😀 un'altra curiosità del lago è la sua ricchezza di pesci, ma questo non avviene naturalmente, a Molveno infatti il Comune ha dato vita ad un centro ittico dove vengono allevati i salmerini che giunti alla giusta dimensione vengono versati nel lago.......quel pesce di acqua dolce è ottimo e la pesca molto praticata....ma si paga un ticket😀 grazie cara Lidia, buona serata, Ad🌹
P.S. non ho mai sentito parlare di alghe a Molveno, credo che confondi col lago di Tovel😊
