Centro della Roma imperiale, il Foro Romano è situato nell'area compresa tra Colosseo, Palatino e Palazzo Senatorio (Campidoglio).
Qui si trovavano gli edifici del potere, qui si amministrava la giustizia, qui c'era il centro religioso ed anche commerciale della città, qui si prendevano tutte le decisioni riguardanti l'immenso impero, dalla Spagna al Medio Oriente e oltre.
Entrando nella zona si ha l'impressione di apparente disordine, ma poi percorrendo la Via Sacra si possono apprezzare i numerosi monumenti, tra cui:
Arco di Tito, Basilica di Massenzio, Tempio di Romolo, Tempio di Vesta, Casa delle Vestali, rovine delle Basiliche Emilia e Giulia, Arco di Settimio Severo, le magnifiche otto colonne del Tempio di Saturno, ecc.
Al Foro Romano si accede con biglietto unico che comprende anche l'interno del Colosseo e la adiacente collina del Palatino, dove si trovavano le antiche ville dei più famosi personaggi.
The Roman Forum is accessed with a single ticket which also includes the interior of the Colosseum and the close Palatine Hill, best location for old villas of the most famous people.
The Roman Forum was the city center of imperial Rome, located in the area among Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Senatorial Palace (Campidoglio).
Here were the power's buildings, here justice was administered, here was the religious and also the commercial city centre, here all decisions were made about the greatest empire, from Spain to Middle East and beyond.
Entering the area there is an impression of apparent disorder, but then walking along the Via Sacra we can appreciate the numerous monuments, including:
Arch of Titus, Basilica of Maxentius, Temple of Romulus, Temple of Vesta, House of the Vestal Virgins, ruins of the Basilicas Emilia and Giulia, Arch of Septimius Severus, the magnificent eight columns of the Temple of Saturn, etc.

Good morning dearest Adam. These were the lines that came to my mind while I watched your video. Crystal clear footage of the imperial seat of power - the Roman empire, on a glorious morning; where tourists strolled around the lush and beautifully maintained gardens and magnificent remains of ancient obelisk, architectures and monuments. The music befits the outstanding images. It reminds me of my school days where I had played the role of Mark Antony in the Shakespearean play, Julius Caesar.
Though I've not yet got an opportunity to visit Italy, Rome, I've clear images set in my mind from reading many books and watching innumerable movies on Rome. I take this opportunity to thank you wholeheartedly for giving your viewers a complete, close-up walkthrough of this iconic and historical city center.
For enthusiasts like me, your videos are a treat to watch. They transport me to the yester years. It's thrilling to imagine that the mighty Roman army might have marched exactly through these same cobbled roads (or the same locations) which you showcase.

😊😊😊 I don't see you as MarK Antony, a skilled and ferocious general, trusted by Julius Caesar, at his death he had an important political role.......but for sure he is better known, by a famous movie, for his loves with Egypt queen Cleopatra😊
I know quite well the Romans history, while sadly I have never read the Shakespearean opera and so I don't know what is the reading of that personage😖
the day I went to the Colosseum (remember?), after that I also took a short walk to the Roman Forum and I captured these images😎 but the video is just a small taste of that historical place......

@@AdNovas.19 Good evening dear Adam! True I'm not a skillful and ferocious general of Julius Caesar, but rather a typical woman 😂. All I had to do is have powerful oratory skills and act as Mark Anthony in the play 😊 Perhaps these are the reasons why I find interest in your history, culture and country as a whole.
The lines which I shared, were spoken by Mark Anthony, immediately after the murder of Julius Caesar. I guess there are three very powerful speeches by him, addressed to the people of Rome, in order to mobilize them to avenge the murder of Caesar. Shakespearean version being a drama, might not be 100% historically accurate, that's my assumption.

Questo non è un semplice luogo da visitare, ma una realtà da scoprire e conoscere immergendosi nella Storia e nei personaggi che hanno vissuto questi spazi che nell’antichità erano il centro della vita politica e religiosa di Roma. Senza dubbio questo è un sito con elevata affluenza di visitatori e lo testimoniano le tue stupende riprese sempre ben fatte e grazie alle quali sembra di essere lì come ha giustamente evidenziato la nostra cara e preziosa amica Olivia. Passeggiare tra i resti di una città imperiale ancora presente credo sia una esperienza unica e ti fa quasi vivere in quei tempi quando gli acquedotti, le terme, gli anfiteatri, i fori, i templi, le basiliche, rappresentavano per i romani l’essenza stessa della città. Non potevi scegliere colonna sonora migliore per impreziosire il tutto, una musica che ti strappa quasi l’anima accarezzando i ricordi con un mix di forti emozioni. Grazie carissimo Ad, una gran bella condivisione che va ammirata con molta attenzione perché non ha nulla di scontato come sempre. grazie cara Mari, i tuoi commenti sono sempre molto gratificanti.....si, il Foro Romano è un luogo sicuramente da visitare perchè secoli di storia sono passati da lì, anche se i resti che oggi è possibile ammirare non rendono sufficiente giustizia alla grandezza storica, culturale ed architettonica di quella grande civiltà😊
io ogni tanto mi vesto da turista e vado a visitare qua e là le bellezze romane......altrimenti la fretta quotidiana e l'abitudine finisce per farti dimenticare il meraviglioso contesto in cui vivi 😊

Oh, querido Ad, aquí viene mi kilométrica apreciación (risas) Primero te felicito porque tu trabajo es impecable, las imágenes son nítidas y me hace sentir como si estuviera ahí mismo. La música es maravillosa, me fascinó, (no la había escuchado antes). Luego, oh, el Centro de la Roma imperial. Creo que todos deberíamos instruirnos un poco cuando visitamos un país, no imagino sólo ver piedras sin el mínimo de conocimiento sobre el lugar que estoy mirando, particularmente, siempre voy apreciar tu aporte cultural que me fascina, al no poder viajar, tu contenido es fantástico para recrear la pupila e imaginar el escenario de los imponentes romanos y su imperio, imagino el Foro Romano como el centro de la vida pública de Roma, el comercio, la vida social, la política, la justicia y el culto a los dioses. Roma siempre ha sido un lugar majestuoso y admirado alrededor del mundo. Esas hermosas columnas en honor a Saturno, son impresionantes como hermosas. Yo sé una historia que mi padre me contaba cuando era niña, primero me enseñó los Dioses romanos y su historia, decía que Saturno fue expulsado de Grecia y llegó a la Italia después de ser expulsado del Olimpo por Zeus. Bueno, podría seguir, pero, (risas) Aquí me detengo y vuelvo a mirar tu espléndido video. Siempre encantada de mirar tu aporte para nutrir mi conocimiento. Gracias querido Ad. grazie cara Olivia, in effetti quelle otto colonne che adornavano l'ingresso al Tempio di Saturno sono certamente magnifiche ed insieme all'Arco di Settimio Severo impreziosiscono tutta questa area archeologica......era un po' di anni che non passeggiavo nel Foro Romano, mi piace ogni tanto vestire i panni del turista e godere di queste meraviglie che ho a portata di mano😎

Fuori piove ed è piuttosto freddo, intanto però posso fare una rapida visita al Foro Romano dove il sole splende e le immagini sono sfavillanti.
Tutto ciò che riguarda l'Antica Roma mi attrae e mi affascina, per la Grandezza storica che fu, in contrasto con la crudeltà e il dolore che quell'impero disseminò.
I luoghi che molto bene rappresenti e che un poco conosco mi hanno emozionato.

Dopo la giornata di ieri poco nuvolosa, stamattina piove forte da qualche ora.
Così sarà tutt'oggi, dicono. Le nostra acque, insieme alle altre, finiscono in pianura verso la Romagna, ed è là che i fiumi possono recare guai, come abbiamo visto.

al Teatro romano di Ostia antica ci sono sempre in estate degli spettacoli di vario genere molto interessanti, non ho avuto ancora occasione di vedere il programma di quest'anno....ma credo che a giugno o ad agosto una visita ce la farò, non a luglio perche è il mese che da anni dedico alle mie adorate Dolomiti😊 non fa niente se capiti raramente nel mio canale, non inseguo visualizzazioni e sto su yt solo perchè mi piace fare video....fra l'altro due settimane fa ho condiviso una clip (d'inverno il mare) con una tua cover e quindi colgo l'occasione per scusarmi di non averti avvisata😊 grazie Daniela per il commento, fai un bella domenica speriamo soleggiata, un caro saluto, Ad🌹
