il poeta è troppo distratto per accorgersi della bellezza che lo circonda ma poi si rende conto che già possiede quello che va cercando altrove...... a me piace pensare che in questa poesia la parola "loto" nasconda in realtà la parola "amore", per una donna o per la natura.....
Trascrivo di seguito la ESATTA interpretazione della poesia così come suggerito dalla cara amica (FLC Renaissance) nel suo commento che ho messo in primo piano nell'altro mio video con la traduzione in inglese:
"Le poesie di Tagore trattano principalmente dell'amore....amore per l'umanità, amore per la divinità e amore per la natura. Nelle poesie Tagore usa immagini ed è facile confondersi tra amore romantico ed amore per Dio.
Nella mitologia Hindu, il loto è la sede del Signore, il creatore e il conservatore. Il fiore di loto viene qui usato come immagine per simboleggiare l'amore o la presenza di Dio.
Il poeta si paragona a un raccoglitore di fiori che inconsapevolmente non si accorge del fiore di loto il giorno in cui sboccia. Ma il dolce profumo che aleggia nel vento del sud lo rende consapevole della presenza di quel fiore.
Questo significa....il giorno in cui il poeta si rende conto che il Dio che ha cercato e atteso da tanto tempo risiede effettivamente dentro di sè.
Nella poesia quindi Tagore elabora il concetto religioso indiano secondo cui Dio risiede nel cuore di ogni uomo"
On the day when the lotus bloomed,
alas, my mind was straying
and I knew it not.
My basket was empty
and the flower remained unobserved.
Only now and again
a sadness fell upon me,
I woke up from my dream
and felt in the south wind
a sweet trace of a strange fragrance.
That vague sweetness
made my heart ache with longing
and it seemed to me
the eager breath of the summer
seeking for its satisfaction.
I knew not then
that (she) it was so near,
that (she) it was mine,
that this perfect sweetness
had blossomed
in the depth of my heart.

Il giorno in cui fiorì il loto,
ahimè, la mia mente era persa
ed io non me ne accorsi.
Il mio cestino rimase vuoto
ed il fiore inosservato.
Ogni tanto però
una tristezza mi prendeva,
mi svegliavo dal mio sogno
e sentivo nel vento del sud
la presenza dolce di una strana fragranza.
Quella vaga dolcezza
come desiderio tormentava il mio cuore,
e sembrava
l'alito ardente dell'estate
in cerca di soddisfazione.
Non sapevo allora
che era così vicino,
che era già mio,
che questa dolcezza perfetta
era fiorita
nel profondo del mio cuore.

Oh, qué dulce y sutil es la música que encauza finamente este espléndido poema de Tagore, esta dulce y sutil música, nos va llevando de la mano hasta encontrar en el sentimiento la esencia del poeta. Por mi parte, intento hurtar sus sentimientos y al no lograrlo, me adueño de mis pensamientos y recreo en mi fantasía lo que en esencia es para mí este poema. Hay mujeres que somos como la hermosa flor de Loto, estamos ahí y a pesar de la belleza, parece que pasamos inadvertidas para el hombre amado, es así, el embrujo del amor es mágico y embelesa, entonces, despedimos el hechizo del perfume del amor y es ahí, cuando finalmente, se vuelven para mirarnos, para sentir lo que nace de nuestro corazón, la belleza interna, la belleza del alma, es más cautivadora que la que se mira aún con los destellos del sol radiante. Gracias querido Ad, siempre me sorprendes con la belleza de tus ediciones y ésta en particular, tiene la esencia del hombre, la esencia que toda mujer quisiéramos percibir y palpar del corazón de un caballero. Mi agradecimiento y mi felicitación por tan hermosa edición, una belleza que enamora. Gracias por haberme hecho soñar. Te abrazo, querido Ad. 💕🦋😘

Che meraviglia questa poesia di Tagore di una sublime soavità emotiva. Il Fior di Loto che in letteratura é sempre stato simbolo di rinascita, illuminazione e perseveranza trova la sua massima espressione in questi versi che hanno come protagonista questo bellissimo fiore e quindi la poesia si sviluppa sulla tematica della bellezza a mio parere. Dapprima il poeta sembra quasi non apprezzare la bellezza del fiore quando é sbocciato però poi al percepirne il profumo si sente triste perché questo profumo gli evoca ricordi, gli evoca l 'amore. E' però in questo momento che si accorge che tale profumo non proviene dall'esterno ma dal suo cuore. Adesso ne può ammirare la bellezza ed il fascino perché ha scoperto che quella bellezza é dentro di sé: la bellezza se non ce l'hai dentro non potrai mai trovarla all'esterno. Grazie carissimo Ad per questa delicata condivisione adornata da dolcissime immagini e da una melodia avvolgente che ci invita ad analizzarci e e riflettere su tutto ciò che ci accade: per poter apprezzare davvero una cosa ci vuole del tempo e tanta cura e perseveranza, solo allora se ne potrà scoprire il vero valore e splendore! Complimenti davvero e buon fine settimana🤗
mi piace molto questa tua interpretazione della poesia che, in effetti, si presta a diverse letture....certamente si rivolge alla bellezza che ha intorno ma che, troppo distratto ed indaffarato, non riesce a percepire ed apprezzare cercando altrove ogni soddisfazione......per poi alla fine capire che quello che cerca è già proprio vicino o dentro di se😊 con versi di rara bellezza Tagore descrive sentimenti che più o meno tutti abbiamo provato nel corso della nostra vita........ ed è proprio qui la grandezza del poeta, riconosciuto come il grande cantore della bellezza e dell'amore.....a me piace molto😊
