Location: Todi (Umbria, Italy) my footage
San Fortunato is the patron saint of Todi, a beautiful small medieval town located on the delightful Umbrian hills. On October 14th religious and popular celebrations take place, including an interesting medieval handcrafts market and a parade with very beautiful past centuries clothes.
San Fortunato è il Santo patrono di Todi, una bella cittadina medievale situata sulle deliziose colline umbre. Il 14 ottobre, e nei giorni intorno, si svolgono le celebrazioni religiose e popolari, fra cui un interessante mercatino di artigianato medievale ed un corteo con bellissimi costumi d'epoca.

Todi is truly a beautiful town and its location in the hills of Umbria is wonderful! The costumes of yesteryear are very beautiful and people feel comfortable and free in them, as if they wear these clothes every day... :) Fascinating film, dear Adam, and the music track you chose suited the video very well.

¡Oh! Querido Ad, hoy nos llevas a viajar en el tiempo...¡A la época medieval! TODI, un lugar que permanece inmaculado en el tiempo, un lugar que se niega a olvidar. Las calles empedradas. La belleza en esplendor por doquier. La majestuosa colina mirando embelesa el simulacro del tiempo que un día le perteneció, ver simulando a las personas, sus vestimentas,
la música y todo lo bello que aún en la época actual, sigue preservando. Debe ser bellísimo estar en ese lugar, ambientado en la época medieval. Veía a las personas con su ropa de aquel entonces, sus canastos para comprar. Me imagino lo fascinante que debe ser sentirse como si vivieras en esa época, hacer de ese tiempo tu momento, disfrutar de la espléndida música y todo el fluir de lo cotidiano en la época medieval. Estos festivales tienen mi aplauso, porque jamás debemos olvidar nuestros orígenes y traer la historia a la época actual, deben ser momentos inolvidables y mágicos, dignos de guardarlos en nuestros recuerdos para siempre. Felicidades Ad, siempre nos regalas momentos de ensueño. Particularmente, mirando, hice de tu video, mi momento en el tiempo. Un abrazo con mi agradecimiento, querido Ad. Hasta pronto.💕😘👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
in Italia quasi tutte le città medievali hanno almeno un evento che ricorda il loro passato😊 ed è sempre divertente osservare queste persone con i costumi dell'epoca e con il cellulare all'orecchio.....un bel collegamento fra passato, presente e futuro....chissà😄

Good morning dearest Ad! You've successfully catapulted us to the charm of medieval Europe, (Italy) with lovely footage and sweet music. The town of San Fortunato seems to be standing still in time. The scenic landscape with rolling lush hills, (appears similar to Tuscany), architecture of the bygone eras, the church, local shops and cobbled streets are enthralling. It is heartwarming to see how the local people have lovingly preserved their culture and tradition through this enchanting October festival. Their beautiful costumes and eagerness to replicate authentic medieval lifestyle (even hobbies like keeping gorgeous owls as pet, perhaps), creates a romantic aura of medieval times. As always, it was very refreshing to watch at the start of my day. Thank you for bringing forth the natural beauty and cultural richness of your country through your innumerable sublime creations. in Italy almost all medieval cities have an event that recalls their past and it is always a pleasure for me to visit these festivals which also display the local products... handcrafts, land crops, traditional sweets😋....and look at the people with medieval clothes talking by cellphone is also a funny connection between past and future😄

Ci andavo spesso quando ero più giovane. Non lontano da dove vivo c'è un antico castello dove almeno una volta all'anno si celebra una festa medievale abbastanza grande. È divertente se riesci ad emozionarti. :)
Naturalmente, non dovete avere l'idea che questi mercati in realtà diano uno spaccato della vita quotidiana nel Medioevo, come sembra fare qualcuno... Grazie Ad, per queste impressionanti impressioni del Festival Medievale di San Fortunato, Personalmente penso che festival come questo siano sempre emozionanti e potrei anche immaginare di vivere in quest’epoca per un po’.

Nous avons aussi dans notre région des fêtes médiévales dans le parc de l'abbaye de la Lucerne d'Outre Mer . Des spectacles qui durent deux avec les anciens métiers, les combats . L'abbaye en elle-même est superbe pour ce genre de spectacle qui se déroule aussi sur le lac . Donc j'adore ta vidéo . Félicitations car c'est de la grande qualité . La regione umbra è davvero meravigliosa ed ha dei luoghi storici di grande fascino.
Todi è una cittadina medievale molto bella che ho visitato più volte. Trovo le celebrazioni religiose e popolari del 14 ottobre davvero interessanti. Mi piace molto il corteo con costumi storici di grande pregio.
Con il tuo video hai saputo riassumere le peculiarità del luogo e della manifestazione ed hai scelto una opportuna colonna sonora.

Per le immagini della magnifica cittadina di Todi che ha un centro storico ricco di pregiate architetture medievali ;
per le riprese del paesaggio che mostrano la bellezza dei colli umbri circostanti, infine molto belli i costumi storici
con i personaggi pronti per la sfilata. Ottima la colonna sonora che hai scelto.

Non sono mai stata a Todi ma sembra molto carina .. Bella anche la basilica ma il pezzo più forte è Branduardi con i topolini che scorrazzano per la fiera che non è al nord ma a Todi 😂 ..
Sto scherzando ma un costume d'epoca mi piacerebbe provarlo !! Indubbiamente ha il suo fascino l'ambientazione del festival e sarà anche un'attrazione turistica .
