L.U.S.T. ? Frisky, or is it randy? Video of a black and white warbler followed by “a bit disappointing”? You could show 50 videos of a black and white warbler and everyone would be oooing and ahhhing about the 51st, we’re birders for goodness sake!! 😊 love the series, your betting fiends from CA,,,

I lived in Northern Arizona and frequently would see Bullock's Orioles, of all places, visiting my Hummingbird feeder. I strategically placed the feeder by my kitchen window with curtains just a few inches apart to not startle the birds with any movement on my part. A great way to enjoy a morning cup of coffee.

Congrats on getting the Least Bittern on camera! I know that’s not any easy thing to do! Great video!

I wasn't lucky on Red-cockaded Woodpecker when I visited Florida. I did get Pinewoods (Bachman's) Sparrow at Hal Scott Regional Preserve and Park on that trip.

Impressed you got great shots of that Marsh Wren. They never seem to come out of the reeds for me!

Here in the semi-rural area in the New Territories of Hong Kong SAR, we occasionally see a Yellow Bittern combing the mangroves area at the beachfront promenade.

Lake Apopka was a highlight spot for me when I was around there in March. I arrived on a day when the wildlife drive was closed, so I ended up just walking part of it. Kinda unnerving with the alligators around, but they didn't bother me. I didn't see Least Bitterns there, but I did briefly see an American Bittern there! I've never been fortunate enough to get photos of either Bittern species so it was very cool that you did...twice! And the fulvous whistling duck is awesome too! I didn't catch that when I was there.

Bummer with the Red-cockaded, and no Bachman's Sparrow either it seems 😞But you got your cute ducks and good views of the Least Bittern, and since there's one more video left, maybe there's hope still for those Pine forest specialists🤞

Least Bittern... Swamp Sparrow.... Epic! I've seen a Fulvous, but it was considered as a probable escapee. When you have seen so many previous It is awesome to get just one lifer in a day! Just an off the cuff question. Do you believe that the Ivory Billed Woodpecker might still survive in perhaps the deepest of the Louisiana swamps?

Wanted to let you know the bird you thought was a swamphen was actually a purple gallinule. Cool native Florida bird, smaller and different face shield than grey headed swamp hen .

Great video as usual! I saw exactly one Limpkin on my recent trip to Florida - at Disney Springs of all places! I previously saw the Limpkin at Wheatley Provincial Park in December.

Great video again. I was fortunate to see a Lipmkin right here in Michigan last year. I heard there was several in different locations and lucky for me it was 20 minute's away. It was hiding in bushes when I first saw it. Then it was scavaging a few yard's away from the porch of the Nature building. I heard and saw a yellow throated Warbler but couldn't take a picture of it do to the tree canopy. One of my favorite places to walk I saw a marsh sparrow,marsh wren, sedge wren and near by I heard 2 Henslow Sparrow's but they didn't wan't their picture taken. I also saw a few day's ago my first ever fish crow.

That grey headed swamp hen is a purple galinule at 5:27

I think that is a purple gallunule at 5:30, not a gray-headed swamphen. This looks like an amazing place! Maybe I will visit it someday...

Hi. I love your Florida bird videos. We also have Egrets in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR, along with Lesser Egrets, Chinese Egrets, and Great Egrets. They are especially plentiful in Hong Kong’s Mai Po Bird Sanctuary.

Congratulations on the Limpkin you know its related to Limp Biscuit right? LOL Its amazing that the Gallinule is a spot on lookalike to the British Moorhen. American Coots are almost exactly the same as British ones except for the small red cob on its head. Spoonbills were beautiful. Lovely video as normal guys. Keep up the great work :)

I'm excited for this one. I went to Orlando but I didn't visit wetlands there because I had most of the waterbirds. I need the land birds.

My wife and I are annual visitors to Canaveral/Merritt Island and can attest it is an awesome place for birding and natural beauty in general. We drive the Blackpoint at least once every December and often twice during our visit. It is best appreciated at a near crawl for much of the trip as there are so many nuances to the experience that can be otherwise missed. (just leave room for the numerous less-than-patient drivers to get around you and proceed on their way...at times, there does seem to be an abundance of those who expect a more Disney-like experience and lack the ability to carefully find the thrill rather than be hit over the head with it at a dazzling pace.) We originally visited this area for the Kennedy Space Center, but were drawn further in, first by the excellent beaches and then more so in discovering the numerous nature trails and sanctuaries. There are exceptional opportunities for viewing from canoe or kayak as well. Your video is excellent and the photography quality is enviable. Very enjoyable.

Cool video! I live in western Washington and have been birding for about 5 years and just saw my first Bullock's Oriole a week ago.

Great Video. If you want to get some cool birds east of the Mississippi, I would recommend Sax Zim Bog in Minnesota. In the winter you could get Great Gray Owl, Northern Hawk Owl, Boreal Chickadee, Snowy owl, etc. In the summer you could Great Gray Owl and Connecticut Warbler, etc.

Another great video! I was at Merritt Island back in March and it was awesome! Too bad you couldn't see the Flamingos. I saw them when I was there, but at quite a distance! Still a very cool lifer. Congrats on the Sora and the Clapper Rail! I've never seen either! I have occasionally tried to find Soras here in Ontario, but so far without luck!
