That point about the P3 fortune teller being Chihaya has kind of been debunked with the realise of P3 Reload, as while she has a more significant part in the gameplay she’s still just an unnamed fortune teller. I guess it doesn’t fully deconfirm it but I think they would have made a more clear reference if they wanted her to be Chihaya.

if I'm being completely honest first off i recently finished my blind play through of P4 Golden (true end) and I chose Chie as my characters romantic partner. and honestly I do not regret it because Yukiko is pretty and i liked her character but meh, Naoto well i respect my boy kanji that's his girl and he got a damn good one, and Rise honestly really annoyed me because of how it genuinely feels that her simping for Yu is her only personality trait (and yes I maxed her social link and ended as a friend) I know its not but honestly most times it was hard to remember that she had a personality outside of that (honestly every time she gets jealous or tries to have Yu to herself my reaction is "god please shut up") if i had to make a comparison she is like Amy rose before she had a character outside of being a sonic simp (even before that Amy had more of a character then Rise). and one of the biggest problems with her is the fact that out of all the shadows hers doesn't feel like it adds to the story and hints at what her social link is about. pretty much every other party members shadow hinted at theirs except rise and maybe i missed something but even then it not adding to the story as a whole and making her just feel like she has the personality of a piece of wood just i didn't care for her that much, meanwhile Chie's shadow hits her insecurities as a girl and how she puts herself down in comparison to Yukiko, and her social link is all about facing that part of her and growing as a result and even in the story there are moments of her feeling like she isn't enough but after facing her shadow shes doesn't show it nearly as much like when you first meet her it becomes obvious that she feels like she isn't much in comparison to yukiko and one of the more messed up things that i honestly don't think was addressed was the fact that Shadow yukiko considered Chie a prince which may sound good but considering Chie's insecurities as a girl it was kind of a punch to the gut. So is Chie a tomboy yes but she is such has one of the cutest romances in the game by far (and yes i watched some of the others)

There can be mixes. I am a mix between chill player and calculator. Arguably the most contradictory mix. Basically, I like to optimize the stats, but I don't have the patience to do it, let alone find out how to get the best skills.

Now obviously there are exceptions, but... I'll bet the majority of p5r players romancing any of these picked them based on opposite personality type, not character traits. For example, if your personality type is ESTP, you would probably like Yoshizawa because her personality type is INFJ, not because you like being worshipped. (yes, Yoshizawa's personality type was estimated to be INFJ based on character story and interactions)
