- I have some issues with the in-game New Year's Eve Party (not really but still), mostly that I think its a bit too peaceful, it's more of a get-together and its a bit inaccurate. So today I'll share what I think would truly happen if Persona 5's Phantom Thieves had a real New Year's Eve Party, the one with fun drinks, wild times, but plenty of memories!

Here’s the version with the Investigation Team:
Yosuke: Probably barricaded himself in a hidden room, dreading what Yu, Yukiko and Rise are about to do, based on the group’s experience at the night club.
Rise: Is currently organizing the group’s second round of the King’s Game, this time with some real alcohol. She’s also formulating a plan to make Yu her New Year’s Kiss.
Naoto: Assigned by the other girls to keep Teddie away from the alcohol, since they were worried about what he’d do to them if he got drunk. Additionally, she was afraid about what Teddie might try to do if she got drunk herself.
Yukiko: Aware about what Teddie could try to do if she got drunk, but she doesn’t care, since Rise’s King’s Game isn’t fun without being sufficiently buzzed.
Kanji: Has crippling PTSD from when Teddie tried to kiss him at the night club, motivating him to assist Naoto to keep Teddie from ingesting a drop of alcohol. He also just learned about New Year’s kisses, so he’s struggling to find the words to ask Rise to give him the secret to getting one, that way he can get one from Naoto.
Chie: Busy making sure Yu doesn’t get too drunk, knowing how he might get during the upcoming King’s Game. She also locked Teddie out of the house for the rest of the night after he chugged a whole bottle without Naoto noticing.
Teddie: Is itching to get a New Year’s kiss from every girl there. The girls won’t let him drink, however, knowing he’ll make even more aggressive advances on them than usual if he’s drunk. He got locked out of the house within just 10 minutes of getting there, after the girls’ attempts to keeping him away from the alcohol failed.
Yu: Just when the girls thought the threat of Teddie was stopped, Yu got drunk. Then the carnage ensued.
What about SEES?
The whole party was shut down after Aigis tried some alcohol, went haywire, then started blindly shooting everything.

Meanwhile, Makoto Yuki is just upstairs sleeping, because who cares.
Sumi being a tired tomato is just so precious, I love it!
Minato just sits in the corner watching everyone while slowly sipping.
Junpei invited Chidori just so they can have a New Year's Kiss and refuses too let her be kicked out. He also tries to hard at Wii Sports and somehow throws the remote by accident into Mitsuru's TV. He wasn't drunk, he just did that. Carnage ensues.
Yukari gets drunknand vents her frustrations about everyone then goes to cry in the bathroom. Mitsuru goes in to try and keep her company. She comes to regret that decision.
Akihiko started throwing hands with Junpei after he broke the TV, accidentally breaking way more valuable stuff.
Mitsuru hosted under the condition that they didn't break anything. She's never letting them stay at her house again. Everyone except Minato gets executed after the new year and Mitsuru forces them to make their New Years' Resolutions that they won't drink for the rest of the year.
Fuuka spends most of the night in another room trying to pretend that Akihiko isn't destroying Mitsuru's house.
Ken was not invited because he's too young.
Koromaru spends the night hovering around people hoping to get treats. He does.
Aigis reveals that she has a program to simulate drunkenness and a boom box built into her. She then proceeds to start karaoke. Nobody enjoys karaoke. She then spends the rest of the night having Minato sit on her lap.
Shinji's ghost haunts Akihiko, trying to convince him to start a fight. It did not take much effort.
Ryoji crashes the party to remind everyone that they're going to die. He also kidnapped Ken and brought him here. To remind him that he's going to die.
Joker is just checking off the boxes at this point
X - Haru is trashing the house, I'm okay on that front
X - Sumi is asleep, I'm okay on that front
X - Makoto had to go home, I'm okay on that front
X - Futaba has been on her phone the whole time, its a maybe
X - If Ann says anything to me, I just tell her Morgana is here for her on the other side of the room, it's also a maybe
_ - Akechi will kill me I literally have to say yes, pray to god that no other girl is in the room
Also I like to imagine that Haru and Makoto take 30 minute shifts over Ryuji and Haru just has to keep him still in the corner with an axe and Ryuji's disaster of everything he is caused Haru to say the first swear she's ever said in her life.
