It's reasons like this that I really hope that if Capcom ever plans to remake the older Devil May Cry games like they're doing with Resident Evil, they don't skip 2. This CAN be made into a good game. It just needs a competent director and enough time.

Wish Falcolm games weren't so damn expensive. The best you can hope for is maybe a ten dollar deduction in games that are over 5 years old lolz.

After this game was announced, me being a foolish kid, I was literally picturing Mercenaries, where GUN, Robotnick, and the Black Arms all against one another... I was picturing grinding across telephone poles, running up skyscrapers, only to pause and pull out the sniper rifle strapped to my back, eliminating a target, then jumping down spin dashing and sawed-off shotgunning enemies left and right.... so my expectations were a tad high. But, I honestly wish they would try this again... I don't know how to articulate this meanfulling, but I still love the Mercenaries idea, as far as how the world works, but make the gameplay like a more aggressive Vanquish (just as fast and aggressive, but no cover system- how Space Marine is in comparison to Gears of War).

Weird, your vid didn't pop in my sub box, I'm just now learning that you uploaded this. I'm not really much of a Sonic fan, I'm neither in the love it or hate it camp and it seems on the internet you MUST be on either one. I'm also not a big enough fan of Sonic to try out the weaker games in the series. All I know about Shadow the Hedgehog the game is that everyone loves to call it edgy when personally I think there is a different between what is "edgy" and what a 10 year old thinks is cool. Shadow the Hedgehog just seems to be the latter and I'd throw in the Jak sequels and all these mascot platformers or a lot of games that get called that. I've watched enough weird anime and live action stuff over the years that calling stuff like Shadow the Hedgehog and those said games under the same term is just often said by people who haven't experienced a whole lot of media that is outside of the mainstream. I'm almost convinced that people who think Shadow comes close to edgy probably never watch anime outside of typical mainstream shonen or live action shows or movies with lots gore, violence and having sex scenes pop up here and there. I'm ranting but "edgy" is a term I loathe with a geniune passion because of stuff like this. However there is stuff like Grand Theft Auto which kind of strattles the line between being edgy and stuff a 10 year old kid thinks is cool since well GTA was on the news and is basically counter culture and lots of kids buy the games to look cool in front of their friends.

The Lost & Found Shadow tracks are significantly better than most of the licensed tracks that ended up in Shadow '05 and Sins of a Divine Mother in general is hugely underrated

This intro made me laugh because the whole idea of skipping cutscenes and wandering aimlessly/not knowing what to do AS A KID... Reminded me a whole lot of the devs that were crying about elden ring and getting lost.. The game literally tells you where to go and has the indicators from the graces to guide you and as an adult you still gettin lost????

Not long since finished this, getting into azure now. Had started the series with cs1 and played all of the western releases since cs1. Slow start with a burning heart sums up zero so well. I get now why people love the crossbell arc.

I am playing cold steel 3 right now and I have to say... the optimization is an absolute joke sometimes its stuttering and this is definitely issues with devs/publisher and not PS5. The are more visually stunning games that ran at 60fps on that console like spiderman 2 and death stranding. Also personally I would prefer if they give the level upgrades as ng+ u got to relevel.

Love the Ratchet series. I hope Insomniac continues making them. I remember the first time I saw the first game, I was so impressed by the graphics. Rift in Time had the same effect on me all these years later. 🙂

Hey everyone, you're probably here cos the the new remaster/port that was announced for PC,Switch and PS4/5, if so welcome! I'll probably do another short video addressing the new version when it comes out but the run down is that the new version has: - Online Multiplayer (with rollback netcode) - Coach Multiplayer - 60fps (up from 30) - English VO - Higher native resolution art assets for menus and the like - AI upscaled textures (opposed to the really old PSP real time texture upscaler) - Good PC feature support like ultrawide screen ratios etc These updates (especially the first 3) tackle quite a few of my gripes with the original release, the 60 fps should be a big win for an action/fighting game like this and the fact there are a ton of easy ways to play with other people now, without the hassle of stacking emulators and/or using parsec means that the game can better fullfil its purpose as a dumb party fighting game Also switch being an option means that the single player grind is alot more appealing Stay tuned for an update video on my final thoughts when its released

I wouldn't be surprised if Persona 4 inspired Tokyo Xanadu and that Tokyo Xanadu inspired Persona 5.

UPDATE: So at Falcom's investor meeting last night they announced an enhanced version of Ys X (subtitled "Proud Nordics") will be coming out in japan late 2025. (Platforms not yet announced) Not too many details were given out other than they'll be a huge new island to explore along with a bunch of new bosses and story elements, it seems like a simular thing to Ys8 and tokyo xanadu on PS4 adding a some fairly sizable chunks of new content that is nessiled inbetween everything else along with a bunch of small additions here and there through out the game I imagine that it won't be earth shattering but if you're thinking of picking up the game keep in mind there is a new release somewhere on the horizon

I'm 33 and I can assure you yes Shadow the Hedgehog is in fact the coolest. Right up there with Vergil from DMC and Zero from Mega Man.

Lots of people are mad at the reboot. Im playing through it now for the first time (Im very late I know). I always assume the way the corners are shaved off is a product of Qark retelling the story. Of course he isnt smart enough for the anti-consumerism, of course he thinks of Rachet as a wide eyed naive little lombax who just wants to save the world. I can see Qark seeing the public as always happy to help Rachet and that he faced no obstacles because how else would he have beat Qark. Of course nefarious is shoe hornered in. Its Qark villan. The onky thing that frustrates me is that the originals arent currently availibke through the play station store as well so if as discs becomee damaged we run the risk of people being able to play it and discover it and not understanding the meta layer of irony in this story line.

7:24 according to a video explaining all of this games endings, there's technically like 326 endings, even though most of them are almost exactly the same as many others. They literally named all 326 story paths, it's deranged.

I also dislike the idea of changing the original Challenge Mode and key placements, not just because I personally want something truer to the original, but it seems at odds with the goals of the entire rest of the mod. From what it seems to me, everything in ReLoaded exists to streamline or simplify the existing game's systems to make it more accessible and fun - these changes, meanwhile, are something fit for, like, a challenge hack. It feels very out of place, and I hope they include it as a toggleable option or separate hack (and all the replies here seem to echo the sentiments too lol). I'm unfamiliar with how to contact the devs, but I wonder if it's possible to politely show/send them this kind of request. Obviously I don't want to bother or pester them, though, Sonic fans do get very hyper with fanprojects...

A consensus among fans of the first Luigi's Mansion is that the sequels don't feel like a true follow-up to the first game. I personally fall into that group and I think all of these mods are a manifestation of the desire for more Luigi's Mansion 1. Viewing it as a standalone game with no added context, I think the game is nearly perfect, so seeing all of these extra things is like icing on a cake. I love this game.

Westopolis would have been WAY better if you only had to eliminate some of each faction rather than all of a faction.

If you think the Luigi's mansion hack rom community is impressive, I suggest you to see the Pikmin hackrom community, is mind blowing.

Honestly, as someone with no knowledge of game development or where you would even begin with making a game, I have had the idea of remaking shadow the hedgehog 2005 from the ground up with changes to gameplay, probably less endings or at minimum less required endings, and at least newer looking visuals tho probably not super modern visuals or anything But I just wanna see the game be the best it can be ya know? And nobody else is making it so, maybe I could Probably not tho, idk what I’d be doing

while i can get behind most of the changes this mod makes removing 2 of the 5 paths as a requirement to see the true ending is straight up heresy , the reason " I have to beat the game 10 times?! " is a common complaint is because it means you basically have to play the game twice after you've already seen all 30 levels the game has to offer. Just making it so that you had to beat the game once ( play through all 5 paths ) instead of completing all boss fights would be a much more reasonable approach.
