Great listen
Thank you!
Excellent Podcast
Thank you!
i do believe shit happens to kinda prepare you for something else that's going to happen, or, or to prepare you with your own experience so you can help someone else. but there does come a time, when you just feel, enough is enough, I've got so much crap going on atm, enough already!
Yeah, I hear you on this one. It's all preparation in its own way, but I think one of the keys is having the time to look at all of this. There's a lot going on in the world and our lives that doesn't allow us that space.
not giving a knob of goat shit about what others think of you or about you, just do it anyway. 🥳
A "knob of goat shit" has to be my favourite phrase I've heard recently!
I agree that when we are creating something you are totally present but when I personally am doing normal work tasks I am constantly thinking about the next task, the next job, the next client. My hobby is pottery and during the Xmas/NY break I spent a day with my friend making wonderful things with clay and it was just fantastic. We both felt so relaxed and calm and then a sense of achievement looking at what we had built. During that day, we chatted about life things but then had periods of silence where we just focussed on the clay.
Sorry I missed your reply Sarah! It was a while ago I did this video, but presence has become an even bigger part of what I do now. So much more to discuss around this. And pottery sounds amazing!
I found this to be life changing. Thanks coach Dave
You are very welcome. 🙏🏼
Great video, I don't have alot equipment, just my camera and I use anything around the house to sit it on. And natural day light, has saved me a ton!
Thanks Jess. That approach will always save you money. And actually the outcome is just as satisfying.
Sick view keep up the good work
This was really useful to me. Thank you both. Ben I don’t think you realise how funny you are, you made me smile! What would be your top tips for learning support teaching assistants?
Pauline, I'm glad you enjoyed it. That's a good question. Can you give me more context?
@@Davethecoach For example in PE, staff are trained in disability sports. However in academic subjects, i.e Maths and English apart from differentiated worksheets, more time to process information, more time to write or answer the questions, or do the work; what else do we need to be aware off? Obviously all children are different
@@paulinemcleggan7585 - thank you for your reply. I’m not sure I am have a clear answer for you, but one thing that is clear with Spina Bifida is the sheer range of presentations and effects, hence it being called a snowflake condition. A focus on understanding the individual capability of each student and having a focus on working with what they are good at. Time, space, understanding and compassion are always key.
Wow, great eye!
Thanks Luis!
Double thumbs up for that one mate. Spot on :)
Thanks mate! Appreciate it! :-)
Well that was refreshing! Thank you!

Safety and Sustainability!! I've been very anxious about putting my prices up. I've apologetically told people and they've been lovely about it! Yes I will stop apologising and be transparent and confident about it. You're timing for this was perfect Dave. As ever, you ROCK! Thank you x
I really appreciate that! Thank you! You never need to apologise for looking out for you and your business. Keep rockin'! :-)
This is so helpful Dave because it's easy to believe we need the most expensive equipment and lots of it to put out a video, but in fact what you're saying is, phones are excellent for doing the job and just do it!! I dislike seeing and hearing myself in my vids but they do get me so much work and people love them!! Thank you Dave x
You're very welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I know how powerful video is, but appreciate that many don't enjoy the process. Great to hear you get work and people love them.
Cool video, keep it up! Check SMZeus . c o m it will help you grow your channel.
Thank you Dave x
