Get the feeling you haven't actually "ridden" the bike...a good few days non stop. Just regurgitating what you have heard or been told.. just sayin
WOW
People called this bike of the year for 2023 and you’re reviewing it like you’re riding the biggest piece of crap on the market 😂
Absolutely killing this bike, everyone seems to love it
as an indian this price list is absurd for me.....most affordable is KTM here about 300k TRK is 600K NX500 also 600K X cape 650K 😂
Well I bought a 2021 one and I love it. The induction noise when you open it up is amazing. I looked at the BMW 1000XR but that seat! Who needs that amount of horsepower anyway? My 95BHP 1981 Honda CB900 was quick enough in the 1980's. The Versys is quick enough today. I really do love it. I appreciate opinions may vary - I'm not trying to say how it is full stop, I'm saying this bike suits me.
My only criticism of the 2024 ATAS is for what it doesn’t have, either the price needs to come down or the features need to go up. - It doesn’t have a QS as standard - It doesn’t have a heated seat as standard - It doesn’t have 140/50 hp - It doesn’t have one handed screen adjustment as standard - It doesn’t have panniers/top case as standard. Imagine if it had all that as standard, you would look past the 95 hp a little quicker along with the $20,000 usd price tag. I’m glad it has a 19” front wheel. I don’t wanna take something that big, pretty and heavy off-road, ever. I’m too poor to afford new fairings.
What a load of absolute dog toffee, An Aprilia adventure bike? Laughable really, THE most unreliable bike you could possibly buy, This will leave you stranded and depreciate like a stone, Don’t waste your money, buy a Tenere.
BS from someone who has never owned one. Why do you even bother?
Beautiful scenery is the only good part in this video.
Great review. Not the usual data sheet reading. You have a new subscriber. Thanks!
You forgot the 1050 Suzuki Wistrom XT which has a six axis 1037 cc
Thank you !!!!!!!!
How about comparing the tuareg to the ktm 790? Curious to find out the differences snd what is a better allround adventure bike.
How about the ktm 790 in comparison of this middleweight adventure motorcycles?
Nice to see that you drive on familiar roads, though I need to switch to a trail bike soon so I can explore the gravel roads and trails in the area as well. Anyway, I will ad the Tuareg to the list of potential future bikes.
Excellent review.👍👍
As an owner of a V100 Mandello S for the last 12 months, I can testify it is utterly perfect, loaded with tech incl. TPMS, lots of real world performance, exceptional reliability and a very handsome bike especially from the RHS. Unique and charismatic with an addictive sound track. The QS gets better as the mileage builds up. Top tip: keep it in Sport mode!
how is your bike holding? how has reliability and maintenance been? strongly considering this bike. going to sell my harley low rider s and maybe pick this up or the stelvio
Obviously Honda is king
Poor guy. He must be thinking all the time what a crap is this: ua-cam.com/video/1RdHVRrDmZM/v-deo.html 😅 Or these guys: ua-cam.com/video/4jlO1fjXuH8/v-deo.html
I’m debating between this and a Tuareg 660 with some addons. Mostly for road use, with some light off-road. Saw your 660 review and for that money, that seems like a no-brainer, but still debating.
way overpriced
Fantastic depth and great humour, as usual. And I like the music BTW. With all that said, I will still buy the Triumph, if only to avoid paying Günter. So yes, my case is pretty hopeless. Will still be waiting for your next review 😅
2025 model year: IMU and electronic suspension.
🏍️💓💕❤️💞🤩💝💙🩵😍♥️🥰👍🙏
Great video, well done. Personally, I just love my f900GS (got the GS trophy style). Full option + many aftermarket but I am Ok, bike deserves it. Fantastic bike to ride, coming from a 1200 GSA it feels so light, offroad capacity is amazing, onroad good enough. Stock tires great for a 50/ 50, rear tire replacement every 3000km but that's probably due to my aggressive riding ;)
great review! You'll be getting more subs for sure
Thank You, Thank You!! I got my M1 California motorcycle license in 1977!! I wasn't always an old man. I think I ride "enthusiastically", but I don't ride wheelies down the freeway. I've owned sportbikes - the Honda RC51, Ducati 1098, etc. And I still don't understand why TouTubers seem obsessed with 150+ hp bikes. I'm seriously looking at the 850 as a Rational Man's bike. Thanks.
I don't now how you drive but you can easy stay in 4th gear at 30 kph
Now do V100 Stelvio
The Multistrada V2S has skyhook electronic suspension with an engine that delivers excellent power. This V100 ohlins is bottom spec but worth the $1000 upgrade
Smith Melissa Gonzalez Shirley Jackson Jessica
Tenho um exemplar deste modelo do ano 2015 e acho-a fenomenal. Potência, versatilidade e rapidez. Só um pouco alta para quem só tem um metro é sessenta. Botas mais altas dão solução👈👌
Liked your video as usual, silly question but would this 1000 be suitable for a short rider, 30inch inseam. Finding it hard to get a bike to fit my needs. Take pity on us vertically challenged riders.
Cbx good but... Cbx bad but... Trk good but.. Bad trk but.. Cove good bad but.. Kiss my $¥tt....
It would be interested to see the new NT1100 with electronic suspension against the new Africa Twin Adventure Sports with 19 inch wheel
0-60 in 3 seconds...what a cow.
I come from a 2023 tracer 9 gt, did 7000km with it in 6 months and sold it again. I can tell you this much: - The seat is terrible. I can't ride it for longer than two hours without serious groin pain. On my motorcycle holiday i had to resort to putting a sheep hide on the saddle in order to make it remotely bareable. Even the comfort seat is deemed bad by the tracer community. - Now i'm a tall fella (6.5 / 195cm) but the stock wind screen really isn't as good as you claim it to be. Yes, it doesn't look ugly, but that being said the buffeting is VERY bad. Any tracer 9 GT owner who is not biassed will say the same. I've seen arguments that it's not due to the wind screen itself but the aerodynamics (or lack there of) of the bike. - The controls feel very cheap and not premium at all, as opposed to the BMWs. The screen(s, yes the tracer 9 / 9 gt has two) look like a scuba diving mask and is hard to look at. I sold my tracer and i'm about to buy a Gen 2 SXR
I'm probably interested in the 850 probably more than any other bike. Currently on a modded VStrom 650. I have it modded for all day comfort with a Russell seat, modded suspension and brakes. It is ultra reliable. If I wanted to build another bike, this and the Tracer is at the top of my list. The only problem is the Vstrom is all I need...and I can't see wearing it out. Can you tell me where that mountain road with the mini tunnels was?
Hi! Geo tags in right-bottom corner - France, D28 road from Beuil to Notre Dame.
You must ride with the throttle wide open all the time, 7L/100km is horrid! I consistently get 4.2L/100km on my 900XR (a mix of highway and city riding). 5.5L/100km is the worst the bike has ever returned at a steady 120km over three hours, and I get as low as 3.6L/100km on 80km B-roads. With regards to reliability of the 900 engine, I've done 110,000km on my 900XR and the only issue I had was with the water pump which was replaced under warranty. So, in my experience (which granted, is not everybody's) the engine has been very reliable.
Can people understand bmw made the F 900 GS FOR Off road not for touring.
OK, but for off-road KTM 690 Enduro R, DR-Z, etc. simply better & cheaper.
Many choices for bikes, but after some really dreadful quality flaws w a KTM Duke, purchased new, and so many other folks reporting low reliability Dukes as well, I can not trust KTM
Damping.
I think you're being dramatic with this consumption . I have already covered 10,000 km with my F900 GS and my fuel consumption results are as follows: minimum 3.5 l, average 4.8 l, maximum 6.5 l/100 km. the highest is of course on the highway, but there is no problem with access to the gas station on highways, so it's not a big issue to stop every two three hours to take a sip of coffee , have some snack or just to stretch your legs .
kay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
Overpriced. Nothing more to say
Pity the QS works only 50% ( up ) with the CC. And this bike feels heavier than the 1300 GS 🤷♂
ok, but why that annoying music...
I own that GS with enduro package and just love it. It is a really good bike offroad and it is so easy to ride. It is a beautiful bike that turn my head at least. The fuel consumptions gets bad as you speed and around 4.7l/100 when you remains around 100kph. Offroad, the fuel Consumption is very very reasonnable as i am not an agressive rider. After 1 year you will replace the standard tire since they melt and more and more aftermarket protection gets available as other bikes.
Same here, F900GS owner, I get 4.7l/100km, buuut, if I put it in Dynamic and step on it, I’ve seen 6+l/100km.
Congratulations on your bike mate …how’s the comfort on road ?? Ism from India roads are really bumpy and horrible…thanks in advance 🥂
1h 13 min video, but only 3 min for Voge DSX? Too much unnecessary information. This is not video for beginners in moto world, and this 3 is for beginners.
Good review as just bought an nt1100... Didn't like the dct felt I might as well get a scooter ... As a winter rider I need to know I can immediately pull the clutch in when grip has gone and so a dct isn't for me. Plus being so disengaged in the riding with dct I just felt it was not involving enough...have a car for that 😆... The bikes handles lovely and am yet to see how it takes to winter salt etc. I have had over a hundred bikes over the near 50 years on road and 5 years off road as a kid I've done 300k+ miles so maybe it's just me...too stuck in my ways but am so glad honda did a manual as otherwise it would not have been a sale for me...
