The twp411 road is what we call st Patrick’s cemetery rd. It gets pretty gnarly at the top. But there is a cool natural bridge not far from the road the other end at the top has an old cemetery and archers fork trail to hike in and see a cool “great cave”. There definitely some “twp roads” lol that are wicked around here.

Great video! I've done some things on my GSA (low suspension with 90/10 Conti Trail Attack 3's) that are on the adventurous side and even on my old RT with Michelin Roads. Can't say all of them ended well but I got out alive and wasn't hurt. One time, I was out in the Wayne National Forest on a seemingly endless graded gravel road with mostly fresh gravel on it. I went for miles and never saw another vehicle. It was getting late. I came to a fork in the road and Garmin failed me again. It decided I should go right just after I'd committed to go straight. I stopped the bike and attempted to turn it around in the road. When both wheels were on the high bit and my legs were dangling trying to reach the low bit, I went down. Zero mph. I shut it down, and unpacked the RT, then tried to lift it with my legs like they show in the videos. I've done that before. Well, this time, there was no traction for my boots on this gravel...so, another 20 minutes of cleaning off the road. It's getting darker now. Will they find pieces of me in the morning that the wolves didn't want? Finally, I got things so the bike was sort of wheels toward the bottom of the hill and no gravel messing with my boots and I was up. I went straight for 50 yards to find that the fork was a triangle and it didn't matter which way I turned at the fork. Within a couple miles, I was back on paved roads and found a motel. Hardly as harrowing as some of these Vinton County roads, but I wasn't even planning any unpaved riding, it just happened. Was happy and felt great about getting out of that one without undue hardship. Had a couple other magic moments in CO and in MO too. This is, apparently, how we learn? 😐😧😱😫😎

Gotta stand up when you're offroad. The only time you sit is when you need more traction to the back tire.

There are almost no sections of the trace that allow ATVs.

I live in St Marys, WV and Wayne National Forest - Marietta is literally just across the river. It is what I see out my front door. I have always said we live in motorcycle heaven here in the Mid Ohio Valley. The next time you are in the area look me up and we can explore together.

What gps are you using? I'm currently using the Gaia GPS, and I'm just wondering if there are better options.

I find them GSs extremely capable. Just not very easy to pick up and get out of a difficult situation :)

Three of us just completed the NM, AZ, UT and CO BDR on a Kove 450, Ducati Desert X and my KTM 1190R, loaded up for camping. 4300 km overall. To call it An amazing journey doesn’t even begin to describe it for three 50 something Mexicans. Much respect for your sand riding abilities.

This video is awesome! I'm located about 2 hours or so down from where the video this video was recorded. A lot of people comment on my videos about how much they enjoy they large variety of terrains and amount of trails we have. It's everything from sand to gravel, hard back dirt, loose dirt etc.. I have to say that the trails around here truly are great
