This is how I fixed my gas door problem. This video is not a manufacturers automotive repair video. I am a shadetree mechanic, not a professional, and here, just entertaining you. What I'm doing and how I do it may be wrong and dangerous. (You could damage yourself and your vehicle) If you're not a professional, please pay a professional to do it. If you decide to do the repair yourself, please...

Man... Run Those Tweezers!! Lol jk Great vid brother!
I am willing to pay you to do this exact thing on my 2012 Camry. The noise is driving me crazy, especially on the highway. It is constant.
Where are you located?
@@Repairsbyctop Miramar, FL but I can drive. It is driving me crazy, especially in highway.. only when i turn slightly to the left the rattle stops.
I got 5 of these from amazon for like 15$
Exactly.
Why is that alternator so expensive? More so than genuine OEM or Denso?
@frankfrank9711 I just looked it up where I'm located, and it's cheaper than the OE.
Nice video. There is a lot involved for a water pump
My camry had a 15 mm on tensioner
Thanks boss! This just happened to me for the first time with my kid in the car. Saved me a tow 💪🏾

The stealership probably.
A magnetic retrieval tool should be able to get it.

Actually, those are just for the parking brake.
too high for that wheel base.
Actually, that wheel base is perfect for the height.
That was a new trick about 30 years ago
I have the same exact noise coming from the steering column, I’ve watched a lot of videos but this one is by far the best & fastest way to do it, i’m a little skeptical about all these people saying that after doing it they had no steering wheel or traction lights on I don’t know if I should give it a try or not
It's a pretty straightforward repair. You can disconnect the battery first just to be safe.
What a great idea! I'm 100% using this method, thanks C-Top!
Not only was the filter put in backwards. But. Quite neglected !
A question what is the name of the part of the kit that you connect to the car because I ordered one and it didn't fit
There's a link for the exact kit in the video description. What Camry do you have?
@@Repairsbyctop Toyota Camry SE 2012
@@miriandiaz7536 It doesn't make sense for it not to fit. I'd send it back and get another one.
@@Repairsbyctop You don't know how many pins the cable is.
i agree 100% it makes me cringe when i see people slamming bolts in with a powered device

Thanks for making this video. All the different camera angles and detailed walkthrough were very helpful.
I'm happy it helped you out. Please like the video and subscribe to my channel.
Thank you for the detailed video champ. I went ahead and replaced the strainer in addition to the fuel pump as per your guideline. I checked the fuel pressure and it's almost 45-48 psi after changing the fuel pump. Before it was 30. Now my question is will the P0171 code go away itself?
30 PSI was definitely low, and it could have possibly caused that code. Was the car drivable before you replaced the fuel pump? And if it was, how did it drive and idle?
The car was driveable and probably took some time while accelerating in the initial gears but nothing too bad.
@I_am_Jawad If it drives better after replacing the pump, then the code most likely won't come back. But you will have to clear it yourself. Sorry for the late reply.
Thank you bro, excellent video I have a question, is it necessary to disconnect the battery?
Doing so won't hurt anything. I didn't disconnect it because I don't like resetting the ecm.
Thank you bro. 👍
