Sam if it makes you feel any better this is how most of my games go against the easiest AI in Tiny Epic Galaxies. This game looks great and I am very excited. No brainer Day 1 backing. Now the only downside of a Gamelyn Games kickstarter campaign - waiting for the game to arrive! March can't come soon enough!
I've been reading the solo rules and can't find anything about the "3 search tokens=7 gold" mechanic you are using with the AI. Did the final rules change?
Little late but yes it seems that was altered. Now the AI pirate receives an automatic gold reward for search tokens, the value of which should be on page 19 of the instruction book and on the solo legend cards themselves. Cheers!
Hi Michael I've got a couple of question. 1: enemy boat is always attacked by navy? Even on cove cards? Enemy boat can be josteld if comes across a storm? Thanks
Looks fun (and I've backed it) but either you were really unlucky or the AI rules need tweaking. It just seemed like there was no way you were ever going to win there. Also, it felt odd that the pirate kept switching target, as a human player would be unlikely to waste moves heading one way and then doubling back on themselves on the next turn.
This AI be cheating. Way too many moves on one turn. I just got the game and i am going to tone her moves down. I am going to make her make a normal move like the rest of us to sell just like the rest of us, has to sail to a port to sale and will even have to move to the card to barry just like the rest of us. She needs to learn the rules
Seems like a lot of fun! I need this. It really looks like a big game packed in a small box. Good job :)

I do appreciate that there is a solo mode in this game so I can learn the game myself easily

Wow, the pieces are quite different from my copy that I just bought.
So it's definitely changed since this video came out.
Great game but some of the AI legend squares are confusing...ie 4 searches and a ship...
