On the back of the headlight switch there's a button up toward the front on the flat plate push the button in the rod comes right out the whole knob and the rod I believe the wiper knob has the same metal plate that you use to get the knob off the headlight switch the lock for the button

You talk too much about unrelated stuff! This was a disappointment and a waste of time. Just simply rent or buy a smog pump.

Did you ever get the brackets from the 95 model to replace the older ones? Were they a direct bolt on? My truck is an 83 f250. It doesn’t have a bumper at all. And this video has helped a lot

Thank you for this video. I installed the module and new intermittent switch. Now the module just clicks/ chatters and the wiper will occasionally move but not related to the switch position. Has anyone had this issue. 1989 F250.

Ahhhhh online they indicate presently in the yard ; '84 F-350, '85 E-150, '85 MUST' HBk', '87 BRONCO II One of them must have a doable "intermittent" wiper switch 8-) Their online price listing only states ; Switch $9cdn, Ignition- Signal switch $20-30cdn So when I chk'out I'll just state "Switch" in the hopes that is acceptable, considering I haven't visited' for a couple months, and then nothing that day on those vehicles to acquire off my wish list' back then .... Thanks for this latest inspiration LoL

Wow on my 2005 that hard little bolt underneath also has a nut on the front side behind the oil filler cap , so , very easy to access and loosen is mine the only one??

Great video, because I messed up my first time, expecting the last person took off the pan, and filter like they cared. I ended up with three stripped bolt holes.. and it wasn't even leaking, but it was dark, and slightly overfilled, big mistake, now I'm going to be forced to drive it 1200 miles, before I can truly fix it once and for all.

my 2005 2.9 terracan seems to have the same box. the cover has the cutout for the switch. and the board seems clearly marked for it to be soldered on. Tried with alligator clips to act as switch. but couldn't get it to work (only have lock/unlock). might be bad contact with clips, or need more than two pins shorted together.

Thanks, that was a huge learning lesson , I'll be replacing headlights and fog lights with Sylvania Silver Star bulbs , it will cost me under a hundred dollars for all six bulbs. 👍👍👍👍👍
