After being a driver helper, is it possible to get in full-time for a driver or any position at UPS?

Do you pack your own trucks? I'm curious how they know how to pack the truck so you can find the packages quickly one you get to the address, and how they pack things in there according to your route so you're not jumping back from one side of town to the other for each delivery and keeping it streamlined.

A warehouse in ups only offers 3-4 hours but they should pay you for 6 hours in my opinions like work 3 hours but get pay for 6

as an amazon delivery driver. my dream is to work for ups cause they’re union! they have way less stops and double the lunch break we have! plus all the other benefits of being in a union!! (striking for better wages, having a pension, paid time off, etc. etc. ) union jobs are the best way to go!

Great informative video! I am currently Active Duty Military and I plan on separating next year. I am interested in getting a full time position as a UPS delivery driver. Your video was excellent and showed what it is like on a typical day. The only jobs that I can find available near where my family and I want to move too is Part Time seasonal delivery drivers. Does UPS not typically offer full time driver positions?

If UPS "hires you" and you are going to driver training "Intergrad" just remember, you are NOT guaranteed a job.. They train/test you and if you don't pass, then its a waste of time.

The more money you make the more the gov takes. All said a done 50-70% of what you make is taken back by the rulers.

I applied to UPS and I have my drive test on Wednesday. Didn’t say anything about starting off as a package handler or whatever first.

Here are some questions: 1) the start payment is 21$/h ? 2) how often they raise the hourly payment? 3) what you do if you need to go to washroom in 9 hours shift? 4) what they ( camera guy) do if you speed up a bit, and how many times you are allow to do so before getting fired 😅? 5) everyone talking about UPS benefits, is there any benefit really? 6) how long it take to get the max rate of salary in this job? At the end take care of yourself ❤

Just got through the DOT physical and have the first Integrad training starting next Monday. This was helpful, thanks! Also, is there not a drug test? I keep expecting one at some step, I am from the mortgage industry desk jockey land where background check and drug test were up front and tentative with your offer letter. I assumed any driver position would have that pre employment.
