It's been so mild this year don't you think! I was hoping for some cold weather to help kill off some of the bugs! I've tried over wintering pepper and it just didn't work!

Nice update, I had a family of mice in my garage where I store all my mesh and nets, they destroyed it all, now I put all of my protectives in the tumble dryer in the garage...just in case 😁

Cabbages!! I’m new to your videos Gemma and really enjoying them. My first allotment has now filled up with cut flowers and soft fruit🌸🌺Luckily I have now expanded to the allotment next door and will be starting all over again. I’m hoping to do some veggies but don’t think I will be growing cabbages as I am a single pensioner I would last me ages. Hoping to do tomatoes, chillies, peppers and peas this year. Can you please let me know where you got your mini poly tunnel from. Thanks

I don’t eat a lot of veg as a single pension. So I usually buy plugs or young plants.most of my seed sowing is for my cut flower beds 🌺🌸

Hi Gem I’m a new subscriber from N W England great video 🌸I’m going to try and overwinter my chillies in my south facing enclosed front porch, fingers crossed that they survive🤞I’ve recently got a second allotment that needs a lot of work. It has over 6 compost bins that are in totally the wrong place so that is going to be a big job for me. Looking forward to following you x

Yeah for the compost bins, chop everything up as you put it in and look at them as a new, part done, and finished bin. So, fill the first one all the way before you move on to no. 2. Add the base of no.2 to the first one when there's room and so on with the 3rd. I hope you get what I'm trying to say. Cheers!
