There are times when God does want us to hold our tongue. We all fall into the "victim mentality" sometimes because we are all victims of sin, both of our own and of others. God has given all of us, believers and non-believers, that sense of injustice and we are all hurting deeply inside because of it. We all victimize others through our sin and are the victims of other's sin. She's hurting. I think she needs someone to listen to her story, her pain. I can't tell you how many times I've been shut down and shut out by people who said "youre just being a victim." Yes, I have been a victim. Sin exists and I've been hurt by it. And I have hurt so many others who can rightly proclaim that they have been a victim of my sins. It does not invalidate the times I have been exploited or used or oppressed, nor does it excuse the times I have been the exploiter, user or oppressor. There are times when we are all of us innocent regarding the injustice done to us, and times we very much deserve what we get. She is hurting, and I'm glad you didn't come back at her. In the Scriptures, it is not unusual for something that is not actually a person to be personified. Some examples are wisdom, death, sin, and undeserved kindness. (Mt 11:19; Lu 7:35; Ro 5:14, 17, 21; 6:12; 7:8-11)

So I’m happy I came across this video, the thing about biblical Unitarianism and why the gentleman in the video thinks that it’s so dangerous, is because it’s arguments are biblical. It’s it’s the interpretation of the biblical Unitarian that is an exegesis, versus all of the precluded conclusions of a Trinitarian. Example: a trinitarian will tell you there are three persons one God. One God, three persons. When you ask a trinitarian to show the verse that says one, God, three persons, they can’t prove it. A biblical Unitarian by contrast, says one God, one person, the father. If you ask a biblical Unitarian to prove that God is one person they could show you and first Corinthians chapter 8 verse six, where Paul is saying yet for us there is one God, the father from whom are all things. Or you can go to Malachi chapter 2 verse 10 where the profit there says that have we not one God has has not won father created us? So for me, the danger of biblical Unitarianism for a Trinitarian is because the biblical Unitarian can actually prove their theology biblically, while a Trinitarian must read and assumption into the text

Her argument "so says the white man. There's no way anyone can understand the original Bible" is really not a good argument. Here is why. First, she appeals to identity politics by referring to a "white man." The truth is the truth, no matter the colour or gender/sex of who says it. Cultural Marxists like to dismiss truth claims based on superficial criteria. Race and gender/sex are irrelevant, all the more so because Jesus was not a white man; He is for all men and women. Most Christians in the world are not white. The majority are from Africa and Asia. Race is irrelevant. Jesus was a Jew whose message is universal, for all people. Gal 3:28 - meaning that such superficial distinctions are not important if we are one in Christ. The second part of her statement "no one can understand the original Bible" is questionable as well. The original Bible was written in Hebrew and NT Greek. Those who learn these languages can read it in the original. For the rest of us, we rely on some fairly good translations. The Bible can be understood on both literal and figurative levels. Its message is both clear and accessible to all peoples and also mysterious because it is the Word of God. Certainly, it is open to interpretation, but there are many wrong interpretations. Those who say that the Bible is okay with homosexuality are unfamiliar with it. There are numerous passages that make it clear that it is considered a form of sin, along with other forms of sexual deviation, such as adultery and sex before marriage. The Bible and the traditional church approve only of sex within the confines of marriage between a man and a woman. There is no disputing this fact. It is quite clear. Some of course have tried to dispute and re-interpret the Bible according to a Leftist worldview, but they are incorrect in doing so.

People that get so defensive on God's Word, the Bible, usually do so because they know they are living a life of sin. They know they are in the wrong.
