Thanks for watching to the end! Yeah, I realized as I was editing that the ending was the best part but unfortunately not everyone makes it to the end, so I really appreciate you sticking around 😊

When you preach Jesus you are preaching the kingdom. Because Jesus is the king of the kingdom.

Jesus is *Lord God Almighty* clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of *eternal life* to all who trust Him alone for salvation.
This means that saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ (alone) for salvation.
Acts 16:31 "And brought them out and said, sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.."
    Not:
    Make a commitment.
    Promise to follow Jesus.
    Actually follow Jesus.
    Surrender your will.
    Pick up your cross daily.
Make Jesus Lord and Master of your life.
    Repent of your sins.
    Give your life to Christ.
    Etc?
No!!! These are works of service and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all.

You still have yet to answer this question:
“What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him?”
Can you answer that ^^^ for me?
Even the demons believe therefore, in your definition, they have repentance and therefore will be saved. They believe Jesus is the Lord and that’s all it takes, right?

@@colin_priest The context of James 2 is about a brother in need, can a dead faith save him from starvation?
Nothing to do with eternal life at all.
James is about our justification before men but not before God.
Abraham believed God and it was accredited to him for righteousness.
This was long before he ever left Ur or offered up his son.
Abraham was justified in the sight of God by faith alone.
Abraham was justified in the sight of men who would later read the account in Genesis and Hebrews.
Men can't see our faith, but they certainly can see our works.
Simple enough, I can choose to have an alive faith or a dead faith, nothing to do with salvation at all.
James is really about having a practical faith that helps others and cannot contradict Galatians 2: 16, 2: 21, Ephesians 2: 8, 9, 10, Romans 4: 5,6, and Romans 11: 6, which clearly seperate faith from works of any kind.
Knowing that Jesus is Lord is a great start but saves nobody.
You must trust Him alone for salvation.
Salvation is not offered to Satan and his demons, furthermore, monotheism is a great start but saves nobody.
Anyone who says that believing is not enough, is actually an unbeliever.

@@colin_priest The true gospel is mocked as easy believism.
Obviously it's not so easy because you don't believe it.

James is definitely about saving faith…not a physical saving someone from starvation, but eternal saving of someone’s soul
