Supposedly, Tim Russert was taping a radio promo for that Sunday's edition of "Meet The Press" (also heard on radio) for then WTKK-FM in Boston (the NBC Radio affiliate there at the time) when he suddenly passed away.

Can't hear the woodwinds, totally over powered by the the brass, no balance, sounds like a drummers bugle core .

I already felt bad about his passing, but he died during an election year. You can't get too much more unfair than that. I did not know until after the fact that he was a lawyer which made me think that explained a lot on how he came across to some of his guests.

Come on GSU! Why are all the instruments playing with their bells facing downwards, @02:54 and @03:00? Especially knowing they were being filmed! Todays Directors aren't as strict like the old school Directors from back in the day. The drill was good though, but they need to raise the instrument upward when playing.

No, what honestly happened, was NBC was taking video of the Meet The Press opening. The audio Engineer did not turn down the audio level from that source until that person heard it and turned it down. It was not done on purpose.
