I luv .g.s.u.. Since I was a child now that I am an adult I still love to watch them..from one band member of brooklyn's Jackie robertson Marching steppers. We where always called baby g.s.u.. So hate is always gonna come at the best.
i'll be at GSU in Fall of 2011 and i want to audition for the dance team but i can't get in touch with anyone. does anyone know who i can contact to get audition info? thanx!
Grambling dances to conservatively in my opinion >.> Its ok for the dance girl parts I suppose cause the girls are the main attraction and you dont wanna take away from that but when the band is being displayed its not time to be tapping your feet with your hands lol. Its time to move and make the crowd cheer.
Come on Mr.Larry Pannell do your job bring the band back to marching to 650 east and doing 360's and the box steps in the precision drill bring back songs made by Marvin Gaye,The Isley Brothers,Con Funk Shun,Brothers Johnson come on man if you need help us old school band members will help we are tired of getting whip on by Su for the past 8 years at the Battle of the Bands and why in the world our band is never going to The Honda Battle of the Bands stop living of Prof Tradition of the past!!!
@gbe123321 what do you march and who do you march for. and dont you know southern style marching bands do not focus on horn angles. save that for DCI. its all about pick up your horn play some good music and entertain the crowd . they not trying to impress judges. marching band was not made to be perfect. sure you want to be good at a performance but no one is not going to be perfect. and HBCU bands have always marched belles. most dint anymore though. but gsu is all about tradition
Everyone says Grambling can take on the RCC Marching Tigers watch one of there shows and tell me it's not better than this P.S Bent leg technique looks like crap
UHHH HELL NO!! The drill totally sucked and they have no sound.. just dancing with no execution!!! I was there and SU took it tha Battle of the bands and the halftime.. though i must say GSU spanked SU ass on the field...GSU sounds like a High School!!

@slipking2 you have to be crazy to think grambling can take RCC. lol. i know for sure they wont take RCC's percussion out.
You're living under a rock. True musicians know that southern CAN'T play...standing still or marching. And yes, it's a lower case "s" on southern.
U may criticize all u wish but the fact remains that we KEEP getting invited and ur band never will. Now envy that.

The Bayou Classic should not include Gramblings band....Just saying.
Damion Morse umm grambling us the one who INVENTED THE BAYOU CLASSIC LMFAOO
The marching bells just ruin it for me, they're an undoubtedly great band except for the marching bells.

All they did was stand there and dance. The music was at a high school and there were no drills. Theres nothing entertaning about grambling. Boring
