EXACTLY! The 2008 NBA Finals is very important to show that Kobe can win championships without Shaq. Kobe needs this win to be great. Kobe has a very good chance of being the next MJ, but right now it's not looking good. I feel you're pain. We'll get them next year Lakers!
I was at Staples Center for this game, it was a massacre in the 2nd half. The crowd couldn't believe it. The game wasn't decided until the last minute, and then the Celtics won by 6 points. They made all the necessary shots in those last minutes while the Lakers didn't do shit. Lakers could have made this a 7 game series, but they lacked the heart, courage and balls to be a champion. It was disgusting. Talk about emotionally immature. They thought they won the game in the 1st half, punks.
Celtic Pride won Game 4...once the going got tough the Lakers got going...especially their MVP who walked off the court before the game was over. Kobe is obviously driven and has more talent than Paul Pierce (and I admit the best player in the league) but Pierce is a team player who gives it his all every second of the game which can't be said about the MVP. Celts in 5...the Lakers don't want to fly back to Boston anyways.
I wanna let you remember that the Lakers have only 1 all-star against three, and all of the games were tight you have to admit it. PS-- The Celtics had a lot of help from referees in Game 2.
kobe didnt deserve mvp but niether did kg. chris paul was the one who deserved it. led the leauge in steals and assits,i hate how people voted for kobe just cuse the lakers were in 1st in the west. its called MOST VALUABLE PLAYER, not MOST VALUABLE TEAM.

Kobe had Gasol, Odem, Fisher, and a decent bench. The Lakers are a playoff team WITHOUT Kobe. Kobe is overrated.
