Two part answer for thoroughness: 1. I have never had a badge or been asked to get one the entire time I’ve worked with Amazon because I don’t have to go into “secure” areas inside the buildings. Places like the break rooms/restrooms are accessible without a badge. 2. I’ve heard from people running 53’ equipment who have started recently (last six months) who have been instructed to get a badge. If they ever ask me to get one, I will, but I’m operating under the assumption that the only people required to have a badge are those doing box trucks. 👊🏻🍻

The “R” on these just means REQUIRED, in other words a 26’ box truck is required. The only time you see an “R” on the 53’ side of things is when it’s “trailer required”. Occasionally (1/1000), you’ll see a box truck order that has a “P” (provided) next to it and though I’ve never done one, it appears to me they are just having you move equipment back to where it’s needed. It’s always long one-way trips (I.e Florida ➡️ New Jersey) and getting back “home” is on you. RMIS is a completely worthless organization with very little oversight or accountability. What few problems I’ve encountered in trucking, most of not all have had RMIS as the culprit. Then, they have the balls to sell us truckers access to loads on their Truckstop load board. Truckstop and RMIS are the SAME company. I’d love to start a grass roots effort to boycott Truckstop in an attempt to force them to get their house in order over at RMIS. I’m not a fan. 👊🏻🍻

90% of the time, I am staying with the “Amazon system”. Occasionally, they’ll send me to a third party (3P) site and my thoughts on these sites is I’m always willing to try them once, basically as a FAFO. If I get there and it’s smooth, I’ll add it to my list of places I’d be willing to revisit. If I get there and they have: Yard made for small box truck Zero respect for the assigned time schedule Rude employees Etc, Etc, Etc Then that becomes a place I’ll only goto once. There are great 3P sites out there however there are some equally as bad. I do work for other brokers as well on days where Amazons pay does not match their expectations. 👊🏻🍻

It’s through the California Clean Truck Check: ww2.arb.ca.gov/our-work/programs/CTC Then click on “report for clean truck check”, it will then either have you create an account or log-in. Historically, Amazon required a CARB certificate however starting in 2024, they seem to only focus on the form you get from here which will say “affirmation of fleet wide compliance” at the top. I still get a CARB certificate too because other brokers require it, but currently Amazon does not. 👊🏻🍻

Yep, I know when they rolled it out (Jan/Feb 2024), a lot of people lost access to CA loads. Whenever someone contacts me and says they live here but the closest loads they see are in Vegas/Phoenix, this has historically always been the fix. 👊🏻🍻

@STATTrucking ty for responding, and I understand.. my Boyfriend just started with Amazon, well 1st he was doing the lease on thing with someone now he got approved but we are stuck at the profile verification, For some reason, it will not take his Driver's license. We have tried so many pictures. It's stating that it's in the invalid and we just get it automated emails from the case. No help at all. My question is could it be That he already has a profile from when he was leased on to someone? When he got approved for his application , he created a brand new account with a new email. Was he supposed to do that or keep the same account with the email? That email was when he was a driver and dispatch under someone else account. Everytime he logs into his old account the Old carrier account that He was listening to pops up. The guy deleted him as a driver, but we are still seeing his load board. And my boyfriend profile is still showing Active. Could this be the reason they keep rejecting his license, which doesn't make sense, or is he supposed to only have 1 Profile which is his original profile.. Sorry for the long paragraph.. we are so lost right ..not making any money ..Thank u again for your Time

@Ermwhtthesigma923 is there any chance this individual has a prior work history with Amazon? I’ve heard of people getting denied today from things they did in their past while working under another company with Amazon (I.e. speed violation in a yard, yelling at staff, peeing in yard, etc). I feel for you because it is frustrating not getting an answer from them and I hate to suggest potentially false allegations, I’m just passing along things I’ve heard. 👊🏻🍻

The thing with 16’ box trucks on Amazon is…they are very hit or miss. Some areas use them like crazy (North East), while other areas do not use them at all (SoCal). Because I spend the bulk of my time in San Diego/LA, I didn’t even know Amazon used them until AFTER I started this channel. It wasn’t until I started looking at other places for people that I realized Amazon used them. Thank you. If you are staying within the Amazon system (no 3P sites), the purpose of the BOL is for you records only and making it legal if you’re stopped by the DOT. I’ve had this exact scenario happen several times and there has never been any fallout over it. Now….If there is a 3P site involved and they’re handing you paperwork, you have to get that paperwork to Amazon. I wish I had years and years of experience where maybe my answer could carry a little more weight, but for the last two January’s, it has been exceptionally slow with Amazon. It usually picks up again around Valentines Day. 👊🏻🍻

They have early access loads but I’m not familiar with “exclusive booking”. With early access, you see some loads before everyone else. Sometimes these are fantastic however there are other times these are just average or even sometimes below average loads. Personally, I feel like early access made a bigger difference a couple years ago than it does now, however during peak times (Prime Day, Holidays, etc), it still makes a big difference. 👊🏻🍻
