Amazon Relay Rewards, Lets Talk About Them | I Lost My Biggest Supporter | Trucking Vlog

- I am so grateful my dad got to witness my transition from pharmacist to trucker, he was nervous for me in beginning but was proud of my success and thrilled to see how happy it made me. I am sad over losing him, but he helped raise me in a way to be resilient in the presence of whatever life throws at you and that’s exactly what I plan to do. They are big shoes to fill, but carrying on his legacy is a goal I will attempt for the rest of my life with unwavering determination.
Always give yourself a big enough gap between two loads. If stop 1 makes you late to stop 2, it will be on you and Amazon has made it clear they will no longer accept a prior Amazon stop as being an acceptable excuse.

Sorry for your loss brother
I appreciate your kind words and for thinking of me during this difficult time. He meant the world to me and I feel like he’s been prepping me for right now my entire life. I can’t tell you how many of his talks started out with “now I’m not always gonna be around…….”
I’m absolutely a work-in-progress right now and am figuring it out as I go.
Thanking for taking the time to leave me this comment, it means a lot to me.

My condolences to you and your family. Beautiful pics.
Thank you, I miss our little morning check-in calls but I’m getting by. I feel like he’s been training me for this moment my whole life. Can tell you how many times he’d start out a sentence with “now I’m not always gonna be around, but……”. He was a fantastic mentor I’m lucky to call him dad.
👊🏻🍻
@@STATTrucking that brought a simultaneous tear and smile to my face. You are truly fortunate to have had him in your life.

Thank you for your kinda words, they really do mean a lot to me during this difficult time. I’m already missing my morning check-in’s with him. He’d always call me first thing in the morning and ask me how I did over the previous night. Those calls were special.
👊🏻🍻
@STATTrucking 🖤
@STATTrucking and I completely understand just pray and keep helping people out like you do. God bless you and your family. 😌
Todd sorry for your Dad's passing. I was privileged to know and call your dad friend for over 30 years. He truly loved his family, respected his friends, and gave everyone the dignity to be who they were. He went through a myriad of problems in the later years but always had a good outlook and that things were going to the exactly as they were supposed to be. I am sure Dad is with the *Big Guy*. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Jack,
He was a great man, I’ve never been more proud to call him my dad. The swings of cancer are fucking insidious. I have a video of him three weeks before he passed getting to ring the bell at the cancer center, signifying he was cancer free. He called me, we cried, he was absolutely so full of life on that day. Thank God none of us knew three weeks later that would be it.
His “take the bull by the horns” outlook was present in almost every decision he made and I’m grateful that a little of that rubbed off on me. Being raised by someone like that is what lead me to give trucking a try because as he’d say
“Even if you fall flat on your face, you’re still moving forward”.
I appreciate you and the time you spent sending me this happy note, it means a lot to me.
🥰
so sorry for your loss thanks for all your insight Im just getting my authority now
I appreciate your kind words and congrats on your authority, definitely one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in regard to how I make money.
👊🏻🍻
Sorry for your loss
Definitely lost a good one, if I can live up to half of what he was and what he stood for, I will die a happy man.
👊🏻🍻
I am very sorry for your loss. It is extremely hard losing a parent. My mother passed away in 2012. My prayers will be with you and your family. Your father will live on in you through the greatness that he instilled in you. Celebrate his life through the memories that you both shared and the people that you positively touch on a regular basis.
Thank you for such a thoughtful comment, I really appreciate it. I’m definitely sad, always gonna miss him, but also know I am better off and grateful for the time we had together.
I appreciate your comment a lot
👊🏻🍻❤️
Sorry for the loss of your dad brother lost mine 17 years ago. I know it’s tough thanks for pushing video out appreciate you. R.I.P.
It’s an event that truly never has good timing. I really appreciate your kind words and taking the time to leave me this comment, it means a lot to me.
👊🏻🍻
Hey Todd, I'm sorry to hear about you father...bright side is you got to be near him til the end. Merry Chistmas to ya brother! Remember and cherish your time with family (that's #1). Saw Paco yesterday at PTR (he said he caught a cold from being in your truck). I thought that was funny! Anyways, hope all is well
Man, we must have just missed one another, I was down there too getting some end of year stuff done on the truck.
I appreciate the kind words for my dad, I am so grateful I was able to be next to him for his great “send off”.
I’m taking the last couple weeks of December off to spend time with family over the holidays and am gonna get back after it in 2025.
Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 🎅🏻
Sorry for papa passing away friend smh.. ☹️☹️
I appreciate your comment and really am grateful for you thinking of me. We lost a good one🥲
👊🏻🍻
I've noticed lately that it's taking 2 RAC's to get these cancelled loads off the In Transit and to the History. Sometimes it's taken 45 minutes. Can't book any new spot work or move to an already booked next load. If you do have another load booked closely, then you have to worry about getting dinged for not assigning a driver to your next load.
I really do believe trip completion status is their new low hanging fruit. I’ve NEVER had it be an issue but have had three loads in the last two weeks that have magically reappeared as “in transit” after I have successfully completed them.
This feels a lot like app usage around six months ago.
👊🏻🍻
You def have your fathers genes 🧬
Very handsome man.
Thank you, he was a wild man back in the day.
👊🏻🍻
lost my pap and went overboard with weed to try to hold in the pain. turned out waking up with vomitting panic attacks (spilling my guts... literally) - MUCH love, all good to let it out if need be. i know your rich ass could take a break, too if needed :P
Usually, it’s not until a year or two after the fact that I look back on something and realize “that was a chapter of my life”. I think the loss of someone close is one of the rare instances where you literally are watching the chapter close out before your very eyes. It’s almost as if the two years worth of emotions (from a “normal” chapter) are brought to the surface in an instant and anyone is going to struggle with that. I’m not too proud to say I’m struggling with it, if I weren’t, something would be wrong with me. I appreciate with you checking in with me, not in the misery loves company sense, but in the sense of our own growth and development through these excruciatingly painful events.
As my dad would say “if we’re not moving forward we are doing something wrong”
👊🏻🍻
@@STATTrucking yup - if sharks stop moving they die. MUCH love
I’ve never heard that before but I like that
What does exclusive booking do?
They have early access loads but I’m not familiar with “exclusive booking”. With early access, you see some loads before everyone else. Sometimes these are fantastic however there are other times these are just average or even sometimes below average loads. Personally, I feel like early access made a bigger difference a couple years ago than it does now, however during peak times (Prime Day, Holidays, etc), it still makes a big difference.
👊🏻🍻
Got a question? If I’m just starting out I saw that you have to have your own authority for 180 days before you can jump on with Amazon Relay. What can I do for the first 6 months while I wait for my authority to age?
Great question!
This is the time where you’d want to work with any brokers who would work with you. A DAT subscription is very helpful and is primarily what I use when I’m not working with Amazon.
If you were hell bent on just working for Amazon, there are companies out there who will allow you to lease onto them and run Amazon loads, you would just want to be sure you signed up with a legitimate, ethical company. I would suggest watching this:
ua-cam.com/video/Doy8hKwBv_8/v-deo.htmlsi=TDbANejsjaZlqTAG
I tried to highlight some things to watch out for and to protect yourself with if entertaining the idea of starting up one of these leases.
👊🏻🍻
@ Appreciate the info ✊🏻👌🏻
I'm at 4103 miles for December. Not going to make 6000, and hopefully never will. I don't want or need to work that much...😇☺
6000🤣
I hate to use the word NEVER, but it has never happened and I doubt it ever will for me. It’s a very insidious setup to me being that most/all of my disputes I win, meaning that it was an erroneous accusation when Amazon leveled it against me. That being said, how ridiculous of them to say in essence “we’ll fix our mistakes faster for you but only if you reach some unobtainable goal”
I would say, don’t make the false accusation in the first place, but if you do and then drag your feet in correcting it because I’m not on “that level”, well, that’s just 💩
👊🏻🍻
Todd might be quitting his day job. He's either a trash collector or is auditioning to be the new drummer for Led Zeppelin 😂😂 #gottem 👊👊
Trust me, there’s people I grew up with who run into me and are like “what the f🤬ck happened to you”. I only stayed “clean cut” to adhere to a dress code. This is me acting out😂
