dont buy the greenstuff that are joined into the two colours (either find seperate or the tube type but put into airtight containers blue is nasty it gets sticky and hard), you are wasting the bit that joins which has set or reacted. vaseline good for smoothness. To make greenstuff carvable fifty fifty mix with milliput or other similar brand. Never do big chunks of greenstuff, best to control small amounts. Talcom type powder and using a roller good for tarps, thin clothing etc

A top tip for backdrops is to use wallpaper off cuts. Just go into a shop that sells wallpaper and tear off a piece (people do this to take home and try them out on their walls).

I think grimy Space Marines are fine, but for Drukhari (and Aeldari in general) I prefer your approach. Drukhari just aren't grimy and dirty like that, so this dark but sort of sinister alien look really fits them better.

I think i actually prefer the slight tinging of the non varnished mdoel.

I've been struggling loads with greenstuff trying to replace a missing Death Guard bell from a model bought on eBay and this has helped so much, I was ready to call it quits and just buy a new model but this saved me, thank you so much!
