    you can use capacitors or parts of printed circuit board from an electronic device that is not working

      This is a very good tip! I've used cabling etc before but Capacitors and Resistors would definitely work great too.

    Awesome stuff! I was desperately looking for some clever, orange-pigmented basing scheme for my Deathwatch; this is exactly what I needed to get my inspiration going. Thanks a lot, mate!
    Apart from that: Take care of yourself. Our health is among the most precious things we have, so everything you need to do, that's the most important thing.

      Thankyou! This scheme should actually play off well against the Black Armour of the Deathwatch. The Colour scheme I have used for my Genestealer Cult is predominantly black and it works pretty well with them!
      Definitely agreed on the Health front, Lockdown hasn't been good for most people and it's gonna take some time to get back normal! I could just do with about 10-20 more hours in each day! 😂

    Lovely! I am going to have to revisit my Ryza forces with those pigment powders, they would be perfect for the Rust Deserts.

      They definitely feel a lot more thematic than the Games Workshop crackle paint style. They definitely feel right for my Genestealer cult!

    Great tutorial! Needed to see those pigments in action and got what I wanted, threw in some dark red ochre in the mix as well for my Death Guard

    That is an awesome basing scheme mate. Not a million miles away from how I do my necromunda bases, but you given me a fresh perspective.
    I really should get more active on the grimdark discord, just been finding it difficult to keep up with the socials...

    Allright mate are you using just isopropyl to fix it ?

    • @SprayBlackStudios
      @SprayBlackStudios  2 роки тому +1

      For this I was using White spirit as isopropyl alcohol would damage the acrylic paint job that I had done. There are pigment fixing products around that will do the job too! 👍
