AMAZING! I live in San Antonio all my life I am now 64 yrs old. I remember going to the Alamo on field trips when I was in elementary school. I’ve seen it get better and with Mr. Collin’s himself is really great. He bought several buildings around the Alamo to excavate I don’t know if he still owns them, but I would think so. I love Mr collins music. he won a competition to come to SA were he fell in love with the Alamo. Thank you Mr. Collin’s for everything you’ve done for our city especially tourism, God bless you.

Still can't quite forgive him for Sususudio and I Can't Dance... But this legendary bloke is a genius and a treasure, even if many music fans (myself included) sometimes dismiss much of his offerings as schmaltz. An imperfect human, who allowed himself to go in some weird directions, but who has brought so much beauty and joy to the world. Cheers, Phil!

I so enjoyed being in that room, amongst consummate musicians, listening to the acoustic guitars, my glass of deep red wine on the table, savouring the session. Thank you guys. Whatever the arguments about insensitivity towards playing the song Ripples, the London 08.07.07 concert I have on cd is the finest version I have heard; the closing bars move me to floods of tears every time I hear it. Nothing else on that wonderful live album hits me like that
