Happy Birthday to Phil my favourite forever. Great video, thanks ! ... Si Phil avait eu un bon dentiste, il n'aurait jamais eu ses problèmes de dos et de vertèbres. Tout vient de sa mâchoire et dents suite à un choc violent sur ses dents lorsqu'il était enfant et qui n'ont rien à voir avec le nombre d'heures à jouer de la batterie. Longtemps Phil est resté avec des dents manquantes et cela n'a fait qu'aggraver sa mauvaise posture à la batterie et par la suite a déclenché des problèmes de dos avec aussi l'abus de cortisone qui a aggravé le problème. Phil était conscient de sa mauvaise posture à la batterie. Il est TRES regrettable que Phil n'ai pas eu de bons médecins et surtout un vrai et bon dentiste qui aurait résolu le problème dentaire de Phil et sa posture à la batterie. Cela aurait aussi éviter ses opérations du dos qui l'handicapent fortement. En souhaitant de tout mon coeur que Phil soit entouré à présent de bons médecins et surtout d'un bon et vrai dentiste compétent. Avoir et garder la santé c'est faire passer en priorité le soin et l'hygiène parfaite des dents et au besoin repositionner la mâchoire, tout cela permet d'éliminer des douleurs rhumatismales et autres soucis de santé cardiaques et autres AVC. Le stress de la vie n'arrange rien non plus sur nos défenses immunitaires. J'ai moi-même connu ce problème ! With all my love and respect to Phil. Phil THE BEST forever. Hopefully, your healthy living regime will help you live a long life, and you will continue to entertain us with your Soft-Rock, love songs. Serenading us with your silky, smooth, sensuous voice. We would love to see you on the occasional TV interview. You are serious, witty, humorous, ironic/ sarcastic but not meant maliciously, and goofy.
You're a Rock God, with millions of fans. In our eyes, you could do no wrong.
We understand your frustration that you can no longer play your favourite drums. We miss it too, but we'll let you off because it's beyond your control.
When you're feeling a little low, just play some recordings of your singing and drumming and reminisce. You and the boys (Genesis) are the bee's knees!
We love all of you, but love you more because your carressing voice consoled our broken 💔 hearts, or elevated our emotions when we were in love.

You found some of my favorite Collins' photographs. Very photogenic. Must be his self-confidence teamed with humility that is so appealing. And 'Take Me With You' has become one of my personal favorite tunes he has written. A shame he never recorded it on an album. It is such a self-reflective and personal song that is under-exposed.
Glad you enjoyed my selections. I worked a long time sorting through the photos. There are a few I'd change out in hindsight-but at one point I had to just say enough. With the music I wanted to choose things not quite as well known and the subject matter had to be right... could not, for example, use I Don't Care Anymore...LOL but I also needed to be mindful of tempo, so I opened with the great drums on It's Everywhere..up tempo...then the slower Take Me... and made sure the transition was on a more serious photo, and ended with the mid tempo I't's in Your... for good balance of tempo, but also has some emotional punch to end it.

Thank you so much! My birthday videos for him have been described as love letters...I suppose they are in a way. Meant to honor him, but also to let him know in case he sees ,and he did see last year's, how much he is truly loved by his fans. :-)
Mr. Collins is a few months my junior. We are similar in size and look surprisingly alike, but that is where any similarity ends. Happy Birthday, Phil. You deserve it.

Thank you for your comment. I selected these songs because they were unusual and lovely. I feel they really fit the moment. I have made many videos that live on this channel, and they feature a lot of songs sure I could’ve used Turn It On Again or Sussudio, those didn’t fit the moment, and everyone has heard them before. My goal is to not only talk about and show people what a great performer Phil is, but also showcase some of the music people may not have heard before. Cheers. -Traci
