Phil Collins: Talks about donating his Alamo Collection; From Austin, TX Channel 7 - 2014

Phil Collins was interviewed by a reporter from channel 7 TV out of Austin, Texas in 2014. In the background you can see volunteers doing intake on the collection. Phil arranged for all the items to be carefully shipped from his home in Switzerland to San Antonio, Texas, where he donated his personal collection, estimated to be the largest of its type in the world. While it’s truly priceless, reports value the collection at $20M.
This interview shows a fairly relaxed Phil Collins, although I suspect there’s a lot going on for him during this time. he is gracious, as always - share some interesting information.

Phil gets a lot of shit because of his success, but he’s a humble generous man, must be sad for him letting his collection go.
