Replacing the serpentine belt on my 2012 A8. Not the best angle or lighting. This year A8 has more room between the engine and cooling fans than other models and I'm pretty sure this could be done from the top.

Replaced the evap purge solenoid on a 2003 Jimmy. Very similar to Chevy Blazer or S10 with the 4.3L. The hard to start after refueling issue was fixed after changing the purge solenoid. Updated Sept 8: Turns out the fuel tank pressure sensor was also bad (stuck at .2 V) which was another issues causing this code.       hi the part numbers are in the description. at the time of this video they were only available from the dealer, should be able to get aftermarket now

      The combined/separate transfer case and front differential oiling is discussed at the 1 min mark and the part number for the fluid I used is in the description for all 3 videos. I have no knowledge of the sports differential, I would suggest calling a dealer however I would assume only the rear is a sports differential but not sure.

    Thanks for the video ! so my 2013 A8L with the 4.0TT uses common oiling...can I just do the same procedure and add the proper oil type ? or the draining/adding oil works differently on my combined system than the separate one ?

    Hey Mike question , I have 00’ e320 I was driving it perfectly fine then tried to turn it on. Key goes in and all lights turn but won’t start , I guess the crank no start issue but if I try to force the start fast it turns on but dies immediately , any thoughts ? Or will it be the sensor like you said

      Are you able to see any crank sensor codes? Could be something else, maybe check fuel pressure? If fuel pressure is ok, might be worth swapping the sensor to rule it out.

    I’ve done two axle seals now in 6 months. Part of that had a stuuuupid attack and mud bogged it. Think ima change fluid. Good video short sweat simple.

    It looks like everything under my 2016 equinox it covered up with protective coverings. I cant access much including the rear differential. Is that standard? Can these be removed? Is it difficult to do so?

      I have not worked on a 2016 yet so no idea. My 2014 had no coverings in the rear.

    Axle bolt- loosen with the wheel on the ground. Because you can do it another way doesn’t mean you should.

    245000 miles on my 2014 equinox. Original rear shicks. Have replaced both front strut assemblies Wow. 1 year since last reply. Why did this show up in my recommendations.....

    Thank you for the video. Im doing this to 05 Optima. Backing plates totally eaten away. Lousy metal. Had to buy oem as aftermarket not offered. Repainted with high temp ceramic paint for extra rust protection.

    Is see there was some welding done on the exhaust pipes. Did you replace the just the flex areas? If so, where did you get those peices and are you happy with the results? Thinking if should go with the pipe from Audi that has the flex built into it or just cut out and replace just the flex. Thanks in advance

      Yes, they were leaking badly so I replaced the just the flex joints. I was going to make a video on it but my welding is pretty crappy so did not make one. So far the repair is held up for a few years, might use the Audi ones if it fails again.

    So my buddy just had. Catastrophic front diff explosion in his 1 ton axle swapped truck. Said he hadn't checked or changed his fluid in 3 years since the build..I laughed...then, I realized I hadn't checked mine since I installed my engine 6 years ago...got sonething to do tonight! Worst part- I just did hubs, 14pc front end kit and axles about 2 weeks ago...was RIGHT THERE!!! "I'll do it in a second, I'll do it in a second...truck was back together...I'll do it tomoro..WELL, this was motivation enough, Even still have my skidplates off so No excuses tonight

    I just changed this out on my 98 thanks to you. I had a misfire and small EVAP leak code. Plus when I would get rpms over about 2500rpms it would whistle sooo loud. Changed it out, it was really nasty. and no more whistle/vacuum leak and no more cel after 100 miles of driving. My mpg has increased DRAMATICALLY now went from 13mpg to 18-19mpg. Gonna just get a new cap and rotor along with plugs and wires. Then do my O2 sensors and be good for a long time
