Im not gonna lie the twilight realm thing never really fit with Mia's appearances to me. It feels like a retcon as a result. Like, I know that from Godot's pov seeing Mia living within phoenix is meant to be metaphorical but Phoenix frequently hears Mia's voice in his head throughout the first few games so i always had the impression that she was following him around like a guardan angel or something. But then again I'm one of those aa fans that thinks the Layton crossover should be canon so what do I know.

At first I was a bit caught off guard seeing Valerie Hawthorne be portrayed in a way that's WAY more devious, until I thought about the time and place this is happening. In canon Ace Attorney, we only REALLY know a *post* character developtment Valerie, who after years of living a lie couldn't bear it any longer. She wished to make things right, and tell Terry the *real* truth. THIS Trial however, which in canon we get less of compared to what I described above, takes place BEFORE any of that growth happens. I must say, I quite like it.... Would it be odd if I said I felt more chills watching this Fanon take on Valerie than I ever did Dahlia in actual Trials & Tribulations?

This skit is what made me love Questioned. How it’s used here made me recontextualize every time it’s used in JFA. It is the perfect “WTF IS GOING ON” theme, and that really makes it franziska’s theme in JFA. Every time it plays, she has no clue what’s going on, what Wright is thinking, or how he’s gonna turn this case around or flip it on its head. If you look at it like that, Questioned is amazing

Phoenix has gotten away with presenting evidence he literally stole from witnesses. He's even gotten away with lying about crucial evidence while presenting it. I can see why he might think presenting such dubious evidence would be allowed. Especially since every case other than Rise from the Ashes just ignores evidence law.

Aww... Iris. If we ever get another Ace Attorney sequel, can we PLEASE see Iris again? (How long was her prison sentence supposed to be, anyway?) It would be really cool if she actually did develop spirit medium powers, too.

My headcanon when it comes to the real Bobby Fulbright is that he was actually nowhere near as dramatic and air-headed as the phantom would have us believe. The phantom had to really sell that he actually had emotions to keep people off his scent... so it makes sense that he'd naturally overcompensate in the process. The real guy though? I like to think he was earnest and passionate, but hardly a rube. A guy who truly does his detective work with excellence and seeks justice in a very real way, rather than some cartoonish and simplistic mockery of it. I even like to imagine him having different sprites for his emotions that are more toned down and sincere, were we to encounter him while he was around. Also I don't think "in justice we trust" was his real motto at all. Not only is it super corny, but... "injustice" and all lol

Aw man, it's so cool to see Mia meeting the modern Wright Agency, that's her legacy right there. By the way, I don't know if you take sugestions but if there's a missing scene in the series I'd love to see, it's how Phoenix got the badge-camera from Ema that he'd one day wear in his beanie. Seeing them meeting again during AAI and maybe Ema officially meeting Maya would just be great!

Watching this makes me wish that Gregory managed to catch Blaise confession about submitting a fake autopsy report. Gregory and Manfred teaming up to bring down Blaise Debeste would have changed everything! Maybe we would have a timeline with Von Karma having a redemption arc? Of course he still wouldn't go easy on his rival in court. With Blaise arrested I could see his son getting adopted maybe Von Karma drops him off in front of Gregory saying that it's his problem now.😂 Miles growing up with Sebastian Debeste as an adopted brother would be good for him!

i like to imagine, now that iris is out of jail that she and phoenix are trying to work things out and going to start dating again. he deserves it :)

I always think the Phoenix trilogy(Ace Attorney~Trials and Tribulations)is the path to Phoenix's independent from Mia. Stil miss her in latter series though.

Expertly done. I love how you show how much of a monster Morgan truly was, since Dahlia does mention ingame that Morgan wanted to kill her in prison. Only one thing keeping this from absolute perfection: Maya did say she screamed "Help me!" when she spotted Godot, right before he stabbed Dahlia. But that's a small detail, Otherwise this was excellent! Great job. :D

That ending with them all thanking Mia was really wholesome. <3 But if time really doesn't pass in the spirit realm... yikes. Must be truly annoying, especially since she gets thrown in with no context.
