I like how the sisters talk in maya's mind while mia is channeled i can imagine in a trial when they talk mentally while wright is defending his client
From what I understand, that shouldn't be possible - Maya historically has to write stuff down before she channeled Mia to get information across, and then Mia had to write down stuff before dismissing herself so that Maya could read it.
Here's a part 3 idea…
If the spirit channeler adapts the spirits' unique physical characteristics (such as Tahrust Inmee's flexibility and Mia's knockers), does that mean that they inherit their disability as well?
Yes, they don't seem to inherit stuff like wounds, so a spirit who succumbed to poison wouldn't also poison the channeler or anything…
But if the spirit was born without an eye or certain body parts, does the channeler also lose them?
…Do they also go through a s*x change? Is it affected when someone surgically changes themselves? Is it affected surgeries in general?
Or, say, the spirit died after having polio or something (but not actually dying of polio) and they couldn't walk. Would they not be able to walk when channeled even if they didn't actually die of polio? If a disease or something gave them a disability but it was cured... How would that affect them after they're dead?
I do believe that the spirit who have disabilities or terminal illnesses are at a very good condition if they are channelled by a spirit medium though.
Dhurke Sahdmahdi who is suffering a terminal condition and killed by Inga was at a tip-top condition when he was channelled by Maya. Dhurke stated that he can do many things he cannot do back when he was alive in his old frail body.
At the rate we're going, Mía is going to have to make a book about: Phoenix Wright's crazy theories.

I have a new idea, inspired on the final.
If Maya can talk with the spirits inside her while the channelling, that means she was fighting against Dahlia Hawthorne in Bridge to the Turnabout while she was being channeling
Nah canonically Maya can't talk with the spirit she's channeling, which is why in Bridge she had to write Mia a note before channeling her. She pretty much gets in stasis and wakes up when the spirit has left
Here she speaks with Mia because the vid is nonsense memes and I wanted Maya and Mia to talk without using Mia's terrible Pearl sprites xD
Imagine if dialogue between Maya and Mia isn't actual technique, developed by them to easier connect, but actually like this connection was showed in Trilogy:
Maya channels Mia ---> Mia read a note ---> MIa write an anwer ---> Mia leaves Maya's body ---> Maya read a note ---> Maya write an answer ---> return to beginning.
That's actually much funnier, I suppose)

ok, but what if we revert the scenario? like, if a spirit channeler who is old channels a child, would they be able to age with the child?
anyways, to answer right, i think that it would indeed work, but the spirit would most likely be weak, and leave the channeler's body after a while, of course, chances are you could just channel the spirit again, but it would be very inconvenient
Now another question arises - if spirit mediums can't dream but if someone they're channeling sleeps and dreams, would the medium see the dream?

And if not, can acolyte die without sleep while channeling?
It's kinda odd, though? All the times we see a spirit actually channeled seems to change the channeler's body to ressemble the departed spirit's former mortal coil; like with Mia, and the old dude from SoJ. Does it just ressemble what they looked like upon death? How does that work if the person died of specifically old age (not saying natural causes because dying of a illness is still possible way before one's time naturally comes)?
Where does do those mia sprites come from? They look so great and have emotions we've never seen before

Here's another question: what would happen if you channeled siamese twins?
We know that if the spirit is killed, the spirit medium is also killed, so effects like death carry over, and presumaly wounds do too, thus physical status effects transfer over from spirit being channeled to spirit medium.
Do then other status effects get transferred over from channeled spirit to spirit medium? Like if a spirit being chanelled gets very drunk, does that get transferred over to the spirit medium? In what way does it effect the spirit medium? Like if the spirit is a heavy drinker but the spirit medium is as light as a feather?
And that is just alcohol, what about getting high? Or drugs?
The spirit who died in the spirit medium's body feels the pain of the spirit medium who is channelling them. It is like dying a second time.
Some spirits like Dahlia Hawthorne can become immortal if they can take over the spirit medium's body and walk away like it was nothing.

Also another random thought, so, a spirit being chanelled by a spirit medium, can they get pregnant? If so, can that pregnancy transferred be over to the spirit medium and I just thought of pearl fey and I don't want to continue this comment anymore
