Atkpwr as you said KM jagdpionier (flamer with rifles) has bad weapons. Did you propose changing rifles to mp28 in the Strike team?

LeFH is at a price point where it's overpriced 2kHE. However, it also has indirect fire as an option and radio to make that actually threatening, so it can't really be made cheaper, despite that it isn't that great. The chained offmaps by both sides was pretty amusing. I think the French win here if they stopped after securing flags on breakthrough push + consolidated instead of Q moving. Throwing away the hellcats and the armor push in mid were decisive mistakes.

Lysander is literally broken. As in it doesnt work. The only thing you can do with it is to unload a truck of infantry in the opener by suppression. The most damage I've done with lysander is 1 or 2 guys off of an entire squad with 2 lysanders. Comparing it to other recon biplanes : Unarmed recon biplanes from the USA, UK and Germany are 15pts. And lysander has the same killing power as them...Soviet U-2 recon biplane with bombs costs 20pts and can wipe team weapons, infantry squads in transports! The only worse recon biplanes are Italian Cr450? and gladiator from Finland 40pts for a fighter/recon biplane... I suggest a tighter spread on bombs, or more blast (AOE). In my opinion it should have enough killing power to wipe 5 men weapon teams and squads. Same as 4x50kg ju87s.

poor Borry with accidental unload inf start. Also mistake by vampiro to try to contest the north road his div barely have any chance there unless something weird happens against Dunkirk. One thing dunkirk got going for it is the fast speed of transports. Regarding the MGs the FM was worse than Bren before bren buff so now its way worse making the infantry pretty shit for its cost. k149 arty is similar category to lefh but not quite the same both quite bad for cost due to poor RPM and k149 has bad accuracy for its cost/caliber as well. At least lefh has decent accuracy and only penalized by horrid firerate. would have been interesting to see the trades over time graph here. Vampiro taking the start but his pushes waaaay overcommited after the initial success costing him the game.

This is typically what I hate in SD2. No hate toward you. Maybe a little toward the players. This way of playing is boring.

RE the Counter offmaps at the 17-18 minute mark- Red's Offmaps also served the purpose of ensuring Blue couldn't take advantage of the Off-Map surpression to push forward and take surrenders by breaking up the attack. I don't know how intentional that was, but it did work!

Im surprised Borry didn't bring the Festung Grenadiers, solid 15man infantry squads for 20pts with good availability. They would work well for B phase with the deck setup shown i reckon instead of the LW-Jagers in C. They pair nicely with the KM MP's you get aswell but they work fine without them.

My sugesstion for light vehicles nerf, especialy those with exposed 50 cal gunner would be to make the gunner hide inside, for example, the halftrack when it has 10% or more of its supression bar. That would provide a indirect nerf to light vehicles with top mounted mgs and shermans while also adding more realism to the game. Irl 50 cals weren’t manned that often because, exposed gunner would make a great target.

Thanks for sharing these useful tips. They are really helpful and informative. I have one question regarding to the Mortar's veterancy. I compared the shooting and aiming speed of the 81 Mortars with no veterancy and 2 veterancy. It turns out that the 2 veterancy has the same aiming speed as the one has no veterancy. Both of them are 20sec aiming time (no radio) and 13sec (within radio). The veterancy only increases the shooting speed of the Mortars. Since Mortars are fast in shooting (2s per shot). but relatively slow in aiming, there is not many improvements in fire rates as the veterancy goes higher.

To be honest, something must be wrong, when u gibe urself the name „Leinstandarte“ whitch is just another name for SS.

91LL is on the top 10 of the worst divs of this game. Only map where it is fine is Lenina.

I think slot costs should be brutal on all divisions so you can't just build a swiss knife deck for every situation like with newer divs. If it's an inf deck give it some 4 point tank slots

19:45 I actually really dislike the Gerlich, the stats are a bit misleading (rant incoming). Yes, the initial pen is outrageous for 40pts, but the dropoff is brutal. Goes down to 80 at 1000m, at that range the Pak38 has 85 with AP. Additionally... -The Pak38 still 2-shots mediums with AP, while Gerlich needs 3 penetrations. -The Pak38 actually has higher net accuracy (66.7% vs 60%) at 1000m because it's firing at 2/3 of its max range. -The Pak38 has the option of APCR for even more pen and crits (although it requires even more hits than Gerlich unless it crits for extra damage). -The Pak38 has another 500m of max range. Just 65 pen at that point, so it struggles against most mediums, but it still claps any light armor. The only actual advantage the Gerlich has is better stealth, but evidently it's not enough to stay hidden while firing. I want to like it, but this rare gimmick unit is vastly inferior to another light AT gun that costs marginally more, with the same vet curve, and is available in a gajillion divisions. Not this particular one though.

I feel like if Leib would have put deployed some of the northern units to the middle flag in the forest, he could have maybe countered Koenig’s push. It seemed to be what let Koenig make another push for the town above. Koenig also seemed to be on top of his micro and was able to capitalize on any mistakes leib made. Also that jagdpanzer IV was brutal to leib’s units in the north 🤣

91st is very fun as they are a very specialized division, it suffers hard against light armor and lots of tanks, also bad AA in A and not so much CQC. which are pretty crippling disadvantages. But in the other areas its very strong. It has great arty with rockets and 120mm radio, and then the inftab is one of the strongest ranged inftabs in the game. LL being some of the most cost efficient Mg inf in the game. The 6x 20mm Fw does less damage than the 4x20mm Me and some friends tested it. Its I think based on accuracy and range but its a worse strafer than a normal Fw. And I think its crazy sad and it makes the plan bad. Interesting that no one picked a defensive income as this map favors bal and such over van/mav. leib suffered a lot with his arty being too far back. 120mm mortars wants to be close to the frontline. rocketarty not as close but still prefer to fire within 2km then you dont even need the full volley generally to kill the target.
