you bike starts att 1/4-1/2 stroke on kick starter from top pos. i can hear the bang sound and the suging sound tell me intake stroke 5:40

That's the stupidest thing I've seen in my 50 years as a biker... riding a 600 with sandals, the compression returns and your foot shatters into a thousand pieces (don't try it at home).

Real bikes for real bikers are kick starting without the magical button !!😂😂😂 Just an advice ....kicking with flip flops is not without danger ...your video is like a scary movie for me , when I see your feet so close to the kick end and the pegfoot's teeth!!😱😱😱 Friendly Richard from France 👍😎🇫🇷🏁

hello Peter, what are the gums with which you carburate the carburetor of the yamaha dt 125 after mounting the Giannelli exhaust? do you do anything else to the carburetor with said exhaust? I think there are people who modify the path of the carburetor guillotine. On the other hand, when you ride the Giannelli, do you adjust the 2t oil pump for more consumption? Thanks, greetings from Spain. Good video! You put a 240 on the high gum, but the low one is not clear in the video what number you put on it after mounting the Giannelli exhaust

Did that to mine. Sadly you lose the lower revs till you hit the power band.
I bought a brand new DT125R in 1989. I ran it in as advised but after running it in, was disappointed that it would struggle to go above 60 mph. I had just pxd a TS125X for this and that would do 75 mph. Then I learned about the power valve. I altered it with the info I received and the bike would go off the clock (over 80mph) never knew its actual top speed. Only thing was, was that the lovely smooth exceleration it had standard was lost. It was pretty much dead till you hit the powerband and then it went mad.
I had a tzr with the same engine and know what you mean. My dt125re with the power valve controller is amazing smooth snd powerful. Thats what the tzr was missing

Nope Nope and Nope Full dep system and stage 2 shorty mate..you will find with black widow and Aarow they are very loud and if ya live in built up area and go to work on your bike half the town can hear you my full Aarow system was very expensive £480 for full rig and black widow was a bit cheap but very loud ...Now the full DEP system and shorty is not so loud but sounds the dogs bollox but also gives you full power ...
Hi mate, im going to buy a dr 600 s from 1987, do you know whats the difference between this and yours(djebel) and the difference between dr 650, thanks.
Can't tell you much on the 600 part. But I've got a 1990 DR650, the 650 has a bigger bore and longer stroke, they also switched from a flat slide to the infamous BST-40 cv carb. And I think the 600 had 2 countershafts while the 650 only has 1, though I'm not certain on that. Oh yeah and the dakar/djebel are only a visual change, the engines and carbs are the same as the base models. I think the only real change is the bigger headlight plastic on the dakar/djebel and well the graphics. Edit: forgot one thing lol The 600 has an automatic decomp and a manual decomp, while the 650 only has the manual decomp lever, though I've never found myself longing for the possibility of the automatic decomp breaking. The manual one works just fine, if your cable ever snaps then a bicycle brake cable is just the right size ;)
Qualcuno mi può aiutare per mettere in fase l'alzavalvole automatico di un TT600s? Ho letto in rete che il cavo alazavalvole va registrato solo quando il pistone é in una posizione specifica del punto morto superiore (PMS) e che ci dovrebbe essere uno sportellino per accedere a delle tacche che devono essere allineate...Infatti non riesco ad avviare il mio TT dopo avere rimontato su l'alzavalvole automatico che aveva tolto il precedente proprietario.
Thank you, I own a DR650 and did not know the n.4 and 5, maybe will be useful if something happens to the decompressor, i.e. with a broken decompressor wire.

hi peter, do you know if this mod i possible on a tdr 125 1991 3sh1, because when I look at the connector with 4 wires with the green one, 4 come in in and 4 come out but the bike seems to stop revving when I get it to 8500-9000 rpm and I thought it was something with an rpm limiter. I know that the tdr and the st are very similar so I thought there probably is an rpm limit. if you could tell me if you know something that would be good. thank you
