PeterToRide Channel here in the uk 🇬🇧 your bike would pass the MOT how your bike was at beginning of the video
Rob Hayter ahah they are a bit strict here in europe
@@petertoridechannel9361 what 2 stroke oil did you use in your dt125 ?
hi peter-super video !---old dt125re hoppyist--think about changing the rear brake pads !!!
hello Peter, what are the gums with which you carburate the carburetor of the yamaha dt 125 after mounting the Giannelli exhaust? do you do anything else to the carburetor with said exhaust? I think there are people who modify the path of the carburetor guillotine. On the other hand, when you ride the Giannelli, do you adjust the 2t oil pump for more consumption? Thanks, greetings from Spain. Good video! You put a 240 on the high gum, but the low one is not clear in the video what number you put on it after mounting the Giannelli exhaust
Good job mate sometimes its nice to have them in standard trim you'll get more bottom end with the power valve turn back off. any way hope she passes meaning your dirt trail road E start dtre
thanks pal
I have Yamaha DT230.
When I start my bike I have red light on my monitor. When I start riding it disapear. It is described that it shoul be like that in manual. Does it mean that oil pump is not working on idle?
Thanks!
Yeah that's 2 stroke indicator it's should stop lighting up when riding
How warm does your DT run, can you touch cylinder head without pain or..... My DT cylinder head is pretty hot and im not sure it is too hot or no?
it's normal that you can't touch the head,
i personally bought a termometer on ebay and installed in this video: ua-cam.com/video/VLqSgJRRFTU/v-deo.html , i wanted to keep also the stock overheating detector on the head so i put the termometer's detector on the radiator hose.
i usually ride between 60 c• (winter) and 90 c• (summer), i think more than 100 c• is bad
@@petertoridechannel9361 ty mate, i think my dt is fine then
Hi, i have a question about this bike. Is this a reliable 2 stroke? and if not what are the common problems.
I've been looking to buy the same bike for when i have my A1 license.
this is probably the most reliable 2 stroke you can find (and of course one of the less powerful). just don't use cheap head gaskets, use only athena or oem ones. anyway the next video is probably going to help you
@@petertoridechannel9361 Thanks man! This really helps me out a lot! will subscribe and like the vid.
Hi Peter, can you pls tell me why did you have the snorkel removed?
for better sound and better low rpm
PeterToRide Channel Ok mate, thanks for answering!
Is the carburator on your DT the same as on my 1995 Dt 125 R? Would be nice to take your video as a little help😅
i've got the mikuni tm 28 ss
@@petertoridechannel9361 Thanks! But from the process of changing the jet its the same thing right?
1Idiot_2Wheels yes it is the same
Peter to ride did your bike pass mot in the end buddy
yes it was ok👍
@@petertoridechannel9361 or good mate
do some speed tests 🤪
sure Mario!
poor tuning my DT rides jet 270 / 37.5
