At 40,000 miles, I took mine off and was surprised it could still get a reading.
Nothing gonna help those cam rocker roller bearings falling out causing misfire and stuck exhaust valve and piston/cylinder wall damage. Haven't even discussed cam phazer issues😊

My 5th gen Camaro SS still makes a tiny bit of noise and chatter, so I have to add about ~3-4 fl oz of LS additive/modifier. I can probably get away with like 5 fl oz of extra additive or so, but my concern is potentially adding TOO MUCH, and then having the LSD act like an open diff with all of the excess slippage. Kinda scary, since people with chatter, tend to sometimes overadd LS additive; then they think a quiet rear axle diff is perfect, when in reality, they’ve essentially created a partially open diff. LOL Some people do get away with using LS based gear oils and also adding 7-8 fl oz of LS additive. I probably wouldn’t go over that amount though, in my experience. There’s probably a reason why limited slip additive/modifier comes in common-sized containers.
I noticed that having double diesel filter is a pretty smart idea. Since fuel pump is the most critical parts of the car.

Hey man dumb question here. I’m just getting into figuring out a motor. I picked up a 5.3 from a friend. It was running when he pulled it. When I got it home I could turn the crank bolt about a quarter turn but then it wouldn’t budge. This is with everything still connected(belt, accessories, alternator, spark plugs flywheel, torque converter, ect…) just the engine on a pellet. I just want to see if it in fact still a good motor? My question is that normal? Do I need to pull all the accessories and plug to get it to turn? Sorry I know it’s a silly question but I’m a novice.
It could be fine, tough to say for certain though. If sitting for a long time one or more of the cylinders could have corrosion making a ridge around the top of where the piston was sitting. A little marvel mystery oil soaking for a day in the cylinders through the spark plugs holes usually frees them up.
I sometimes laugh at these Fiat boys on here talking crap about how tough they think a Ram is vs other manufacturers 😂😂 the best thing about that is, (Cummins engines) aren't made by Fiat/ Chrysler... actually they are found on multiple different manufacturers, including Asian vehicle brands... js Google it bruh😅

A pulley change so more boost is generated is a relatively easy way to get the LSA to 600 plus HP. With a cam swap to a larger cam with more lift as well as the pulley upgrade, the LSA should be pushing around 700 HP with a tune.... A camshaft in the 215-235 range with 550 to 600 lift on intake and exhaust with an LSA in the 113 to 116 range should do the job. Obviously supporting mods such as an intake and headers and exhaust are highly recommended. 😎🇦🇺👍
Never spray down the intake. You can do vacuum lines and even pull an 02 sensor to clean the cat but never do this.
is it really that bad? Is this 100% not okay with the MAF fairly far downstream? The throttle body is extremely inaccessible for me in my car-it’s a pain in the ass that will require me taking out the MAF tube down in the cramped back end of my engine. Seafoam says it’s okay to do this on their website but also says it’s not in other places so I am extremely confused. I was just going to spray the can into the front of one of my engine air intakes with the filter removed and I figured misting the MAF from that distance would probably be alright but idk enough about MAF to be sure so I’m nervous. This is a 2010 Mercedes by the way, I’m trying to fix up my grandpa’s car a bit but I’ve never had to deal with this before

Did you end up doing a rear caliper & rotor upgrade? If so do you recall what you did?
I would recommend checking the diff fluid BEFORE installing the diff. That way’s if big chunks of metal are present, you’re aware of it before going to all the trouble.

@@ppcogameplay4744 It was my tuner. Failed software or connection at FRP electrical coupling on top of the motor. My tuner harness intercepts the factory coupler so it can apply the tune. Disconnected the tuner harness at the frp connector, BANKS sent a new tuner and harness. What do you have going on?
