@@psicoloramarockprogresivop6209 absolutely, and yes it is an upgrade, you just make sure if you’re using it to stream you choose the UPnP option in the interface, or connect via USB as a DDC and you’re good to go

Those are a very rare old unit. My first impressions were definitely not great, mate. I’ll tell you that now, but I am more than happy to take it in for a full review these days.

with you on that. A much more balanced less coloured amp which performs just as well as AIC10 with the right DAC. Especially with Immanis its Envy all day every day over AIC10. Depending on the DAC the tube setup matters a lot, you can totally mismatch it very easily, the stock tube choice of Perfomance Edition and the new Meisterwerk is a more safe bet than one might think.

@@Leon-lg7zm i’ve only spent a few hours with a 465, so it’s very difficult to say, but that’s a solid state which means it will be easy to use. You can leave it on all the time. It sounds pretty damn fricking great, but for me personally, I think I prefer AIC, better looking better built more versatile But they both have tremendous strengths, and they both have some weaknesses but once it comes in for a review, maybe my opinion will change so take it with a pinch of salt

@ConvinceMeAudio Meanin' there's a noisey audibles but only for sensitives iem..Sir there's no such things as sensitive iem or what so ever Just audiophiles IEM did go in ur ears canal maximum!..and that's is why they are bein' labeled as most sensitive transducers..which I more into rather then headphones or else which not maximum IN then valuate..Peace2!

@@medardboss3595 build quality there is no comparison at all. AIC wins it’s not a discussion. Power and liability, they are definitely on point Performance and enjoy head trip is wild. I will say AIC is romantic and head trip is just a fricking head trip LOL like it’s namesake I wish we had it in during the shootout. But AIC is far more versatile. The noise floor on head trip is ridiculous so you need like SUS stealth or 1266. A lot of headphones were almost unusable.

It’s 22 now, I think because of inflation, no I agree with you honestly this is why I don’t ever talk about price point because it’s very subjective to the individual, but these price points are kind of Ludacris. You can buy an incredible used BMW for that price makes you laugh, doesn’t it?

My used BMW cost $27k. My Hifi system cost me at least double that price. 😂

@@rhodey2952 i’m mean it sounds great after an hour even better as you go in, but when it’s stabilised for a long time, it really does sound a lot better It’s not just AIC it’s a trend WA 33 is six hours and I’ve timed it to the minit Red October sounds incredible the moment you switch it on

Sorry, just realized its a 360. We tested the OG one. The og had stock tubes in that A/B. OGs speed was slower, the background was not as vividly black, the layering of the dynamics was not so insanely on point as with Tambaqui. Each layer that tambaqui renders has its own dynamics. The textural detail retrieval is on pair I believe while Horizon might have a slight edge in analogue insturment department, the stage on horizon is larger, Tambaqui is more focused and precise, it felt more correct. Horizon with sound slightly more analogue, while tambaqui is a notch more clean. Overall I felt like Tambaqui edges Horizon in dynamics department the most, the contrasts bertween loud and quiter parts in the recording are much stronger which creates a higher sence of realism. To me it became apparent that Tambaqui punches far above its weight when I first heard it as a Rockna Wavedream Signature owner back in the day, one might expect both DACs to be in the same tier but it just wasnt the case. A/B was done with Tambaqui - Egoista 845 mk III with full Elrog upgraded tubes and full set of In Akustik NF 1204 Air interconnects, and usb to the PC. I believe the results could vary a bit if a streamer was used.

@@masterazlan6999 I think you misunderstood, this is only for the midwife category I’ve been using IEM for 22 years all the way up to the super flagships, I don’t often review them because it’s difficult to get hold of them in the UK from the manufacturers but we test plenty of 3 1/2 K and above units here this refers to the category it’s in which is the mid five category up to $800

@@nikoskaranikas1188 there’s a very big difference between drivability and loudness, and for me personally I don’t exceed 70 5DB often, ATDB80 5DB are sparingly tested for the capabilities of drivers et cetera, my normal listening level is 7270 5DB but this is very much dependent on the individual In fact driving a pair of headphones properly at 70 5DB or 70 DB is far harder than driving a headphone at 80 DB or 80 5DB. Most headphones tend to collapse in their base response weight and tonality weight in these low spectrum only very good amplifiers can pull this out.

I don’t think there are many headphone amplifiers that cut it genuinely you need at least 20 5W into 30 20 like the Wells audio head trip power obviously not that expensive something like a Benchmark AHB2 or if you can’t afford that purifi

@@nikoskaranikas1188 ca-1a more than anything else really truly seems to benefit from that power ramp scenario which we try and stay away from, it is so demanding honestly you think you’ve heard how it performs and then you realise there are levels upon levels, I recommend checking out the review if you haven’t already on the channel it was truly shocked with Wells audio head trip

@@Elime55 I don’t think it’s gonna have any problems For delivery technicality and performance, but it’s still a portable device and utopia likes tubes so it could be very aggressive or a bit overly fatiguing
