I have a 2024 Lariat Hybrid with 22000 miles after 11 months. I'm 65, five foot ten. This is my favorite vehicle of all time. My last two vehicles were Mazda 3s and I split 670,000 miles on those two cars. The Maverick mileage is fantastic, especially in summer. I changed my commute from a highway ride to connecting two long boulevards at 40 MPH. My work round trip is 25 miles and I routinely get 18 electric miles. With normal driving and about 425 miles between fuel ups, I get about 200 electric miles or 45% of travel time in electric mode. On long interstate drives, of course, it's nearly all gas but the Maverick still competes with my old Mazda 3 with 33 to 35 MPH. Getting in and out of the Maverick is much easier than the Mazda 3 and the higher seating position lets me see more than the car ahead of me on the highway. The truck size is great, only a few inches longer than my Mazda 3. Fits the garage well. The truck bed lets me stack pallets to carry to our shop, load tool boxes and parts for work trips, carry all the yard waste, and is perfect for golf clubs and a push cart. I used the 110 outlet at Christmas to plug in my crockpot as I crossed town for a holiday party. The interior is very comfortable. I like the round knob shifter; it gives the sense of roominess. With a phone mount in the cubby hole and a 12" USB cable, my phone sits next to the truck screen. The Android Auto takes a half minute to load but works well. Wind noise has not been an issue. I've done two oil changes with tire rotations. Love this truck and would recommend it to anyone looking for a small all-purpose economical vehicle useful for light work.

Keep the tailgate closed, in the upright position. Plywood is usually stored horizontally/flat at the store. Use a flat load cart to carry the plywood, not a vertical load cart. From the flat loaded cart, lift one end of the plywood sheet onto top lip of tailgate. Push plywood all the way into bed, resting on the top of the closed tailgate. If a person can't do that, considering the low bed height of the Maverick, they need to work out a bit more, and gain a little muscle.

I have a 2023'Lariat Hybrid that MSRP for 29,500 only options were all weather mats, Tow package and rear seat inverter. I had a 2700 price protection for having a 22 order pushed to 23 and I had a 500 rebate for Nevada Farm bureau member.. I paid 26,300 after rebate. I still have Carvana offers for 29500 . All the options just inflate the price and depreciate. I have the Cheapest Lariat Hybrid. This guy wanted out of his truck because he optioned it up with a bunch of pricey equipment. He doesn't want to keep it because he doesn't feel it's a 40k vehicle. That's why he's getting out of it. The Maverick isn't a good value with all the price increases currently.

DOT law 3 feet is max for items sticking pass your bed

I get 29 miles on a road trip off 1000 miles 2023 Mav hybrid Lariat. Much better in traffic and city drive on mileage.
