The “Chicken of the Sea” stickers were created by Paul Lichter. ANY “Aloha” LP with the “Chicken of the Sea” Label is FAKE. There were NO real C.O.T.S. labels. Paul Lichter made all of them and slapped them on ALOHA albums
Yes, it’s very quick, but in the video you can hear Ian say “PL” he’s referring to Paul Lichter. Good catch.
Good video Rick. Some cool stuff.
Great show Rick and lan keep up cool work on Elvis
Fun video to make. Thanks for watching as always!
Thanks for such a great video and to Ian for sharing his incredible collection with us. Love every minute!!
Another fun video to make!
I am sooo jealous of that guys collection, I've got some pretty cool stuff my self but he's is just wow . He's a pretty cool thing ,I went into a charity shop the other day and found a bottle of wine from Italy 1978 with elvis on the labels and it's something parker released because of elvis death, still got the Cork in it. I think it's amazing just what you can find out there if lucks with you. Luv the show.
Thanks for watching. We had a lot of fun making it.
I'm from New Zealand, where did Ian grow up?
Great to see such rare items. The Christmas album is simple but so effective.
I’ll have one, one day! It has always eluded me.
GREAT SHOW, VERY INTERESTING!!!!!
It was a fun one! Thanks for watching!
Great show
Thanks for watching. ✌🏼
Great video with some incredible items. I wish I was a collector. I love seeing these things for the first time.
I was seeing many of them for the first time as well. Always fun having Ian in town.
Looking forward to getting my book too. I have one autograph in it too. But this is a great video and any time someone appears with rare and unique Elvis items, I get excited
Great book! Really well done.

It’s a HAT sir! 🎩
I was in the lift at the guesthouse in August you were very nice xx
Well, thank you! Never a reason not to be pleasant! Thanks for watching the videos!
Are you saying that Glen D Hardin arranged ‘It’s impossible’ for Elvis?
Glen D. said it himself. He arranged approximately 53 songs for Elvis. He is credited on the recordings as doing so. The song, It’s Impossible, is his favorite song that he arranged for Elvis. During his talk at Memphis Mansion he described the process, then listened to the song after he described the work he had done on the song. It was brilliant.
@@TheElvisWorkshop Interesting! Thanks for the explanation.
Of course! Thanks for watching.
Richard.....your way of telling stories about Elvis etc had me laughing and glued to the channel and wondering what will happen next? thank you
Awesome! Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching. More to come!
Elvis’s grave is the most visited grave in the world and always will be!
Well, not accurate, but a lot of people do visit it. There are other graves that get a lot more visitors. The Pope’s at the Vatican, Chairman Mao in China, Napoleon. There are others that get way more than Elvis, but you’re right. His grave is visited by thousands every day.
❤ If I win the lottery, I will build me a Graceland.
❤ You are smart getting around those guys while they were still here
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great stories Richard.I loved your Ray Price/Elvis Costello Story. I never got it why he named himself Elvis Costello, since he was born Declan Patrick MacManus,. Maybe out of admiration for the one and only Elvis? Great to see you picked up the MBM New Script , Same Stage album. Did you also pick up the Back in LA 2-LP set on the same label? They're both fantastic. LA 74 has finally the right speed, and never sounded better!
I did grab a few things! Fun trip! Lots to carry!
Thank you Rick . You’re giving us so many great stories. Hope to see you again in Denmark
Great to see you again! I’ll be back!
What a great show today
Kool story, but I’ve always heard Elvis didn’t like his feet and never wanted them exposed to anyone, even on the movie sets!!! Weird.
He was at home. He was shoeless in a lot of his movies as well.
Fantastic weekend ❤ So nice to meet you.
So much fun! Thanks for coming out!
Thankful Glen is still here and sharing his memories ❤
It was great to be able to sit with him for hours and talk about all things. We had a great time.
You say you're only an Elvis fan,I think you're a true legend, you do so much for the Elvis world. Love that video, great people as usual. Luv the show.
Thank you! I am just a fan, but I’m passionate about it. I really appreciate you watching!
Thank You Richard because of people like You we have such wonderful content like this
Thank you! That means a lot to me! I appreciate you watching. TCB!
what cool video Richard long live Elvis forever
Thank you! We had so much fun!
Facts : Parker brought Elvis to this big label, RCA. Parker brought Elvis on national TV. Parker brought Elvis to Hollywood. Parker brought Elvis live on stage again in 1969. Parker made Elvis very famous and very rich. Question : would Elvis had become famous when he stayed at Sun records ? Parker got 25% of Elvis' earnings and 25% of Elvis merchandise, which was Parker's idea. Besides, Elvis signed every contract personally. He was a grown up man, wasn't he ? Elvis' drugsabuse has nothing to do with Parker. That was Elvis' responsibility. His choice and his choice only. Think about this : Why is Tom Jones still around and singing great ? Because he took care of himself and Elvis did not. So Elvis did not fire Parker. So he was okay then how Parker did his job, I guess. Parker did not kill Elvis Presley. Elvis killed himself, because his drugsabuse was much worse then fans would believe....
Exactly. This was the point of the entire video. Not taking sides or beating up on anyone. Discussing it. Plain and simple.
It was so good to see you, Rick! It was a fantastic weekend 😀 All the best, Rene
You as well! Greet times! Glad I got to see you again.
When you mention Glen I think of his piano part on Big hunk o love on Aloha. His moment on camera. He was a great arranger for Elvis. What a band Elvis had. Thanks for all you do for the Elvis world Richard.
That’s an excellent performance! Great point!
can't understand him you sure he's an Aussie??😂.....when are you having Cole on the workshop that would be cool 👌...How many 🍺 you had ? 😂...maybe the stars will align next visit 👍
No beers. We were just having fun.
Franky & Johnny 😂 his talent and voice was wasted throughout the 60's plus the publishing deal Parker had restricted the quality of songs , problems with all this new re released is its been tampered with & not for the better can't beat original vinyl for me...About time you got the workshop going again. 👌
Maybe next year… ✌️💖
