Hi Rick, the black cover Elvis - Essential Collection with the phone card is from Australia, essentially its'e exactly the same as other versions of this collection except for the cover design, the fact it's a digipak & it has the phone card, for the original artwork take a look at the the booklet.

I have a photograph of those 'original' Sun singles. I took it 20 years ago when I was at Graceland. I traveled all the way from the Netherlands just to take that specific photo. Man, to discover after all these years that they are fake. I want a complete refund from Graceland, pronto! 😂

Got a BIG Kick out of seeing Rick Bain on the show. He lives in the same town as me. So that was a highlight for me seeing him here.

You was talking about rocking 88 in the unique sound of the guitar do you know how they came upon that sound... They were riding on the highway there in a rainstorm the amplifier to the guitar got wet they had no money to get a new one so they recorded the song with the amplifier with a busted speaker or should I say water soaked haha that's what made the unique sound rockin 88... I was born in 1957! All my original albums have been lost. I want to buy replacement albums! Are they available from RCA? I did see him live in Las Vegas twice in 71-72, then again in Lake Tahoe twice in 72. Wish I could have seen him in the Oakland or San Francisco but I didn't have a ride.

Yes, Richard you are holding one of the hardest FTD albums to find. The Standing Room Only copy. I purchased mine at first release and today that albums value is crazy money.

I was the last generation who heard about Elvis, born in 1972. He was great. A very Nice collection you got there!

Ooh Las Vegas! is named after the song from Gram Parson ( The Elvis connection is the musicians that worked with Gram during the recordings, also worked with Elvis) Hence the title.

Maybe I should add an extra day in March to go antiquing
