I have been watching your videos for long time, you made me love this style more, and I wanna learn it, thank you for sharing
Hello :) I'm really glad to see your words, and also glad that my every steps of training makes you inspire Bajiquan more fascinate! Thanks for enjoying my training logs :)
Hi Hong. You’re practicing my favourite posture in Baji! I find it trains all aspects of the theory. But it’s the most complex to perform properly. I’m very impressed with your performance. You don’t rush the technique or force the power through like so many I see. You perform the technique and allow your structure to deliver the power through to the object. In this instance a hanging bag. Keep up the training Hong. 💪
Hello Lee :) I'm also really impressed to see your words. Every moments of my training and my sifu's teaching were crossed in my mind while reading your contents. Thank you so much. I'm also rooting your training too!
💪🙏❣️❣️❣️
🙂🙂😀😊 Thank you!👍
Wonderful!
Thank you! :)
Nice, very nice!
Thank you so much! :)
What's the name of this sequence? It looks really good. There are lots of Jingangbashi moves, Pigua, and that Fu Hu is great! Awesome! Lots of improvements on your skill.
When single moves are consecutively expressed in demonstration, it is called taolu(套路). Thank you for enjoy my videos!
👍👍👍
Thank you so much! :)
Short and powerful, Hong. Well done
Thank you :) Whenever I finished this demonstration, my legs are shivering! :)
@ it does look like the stances are maintained at a low level. I call that jelly legs hahaha
Thank you
I also thank you too :)
Hi Hong, very nice single movement training. I always found it difficult to balance the power issuing between my dominant and non dominant side. How do you find it?
Hello Lee :) Always thank you for your words. As I practiced for a long time with the correct posture taught by my Sifu, I realized some things as I understood what the Sifu said in the past, and there were some parts where my body became enlightened through training.
@ that’s interesting you say that over time your body/mind adjusts naturally to the practice. I find the same thing too 😊 How long are you holding the static postures for now? Horse stance for example.
I'm glad that you have same opinions with me! and find the same things too. For basic stance like horse stance, is always same. I stand 1minutes per each stance. :) How about you? How long are you holding the postures when you training?
@ initially I would stand for around 1 - 2 minutes per posture. But found my energy and strength increased if I just stood in Horse stance. I have built my time up to 12 minutes. I also hold certain postures from Xiao Jia during its practice for a number of controlled breaths. I find this very difficult, but the results in performance and energy development very good!
@@leegravett4966 Wow, the maximum time is 12 minutes, that's amazing! Yes I think the synergy of our body is maximized when our breath and body are used together. It's nice to see you training hard! I'm also rooting your exercise too. :)
Thank you. ❤❤❤🙏👌
Always thank you for rooting me :)
Very cool 😎👍

Hi Hong, I do like to watch the Wu style. It’s different to the Wutan style, but retains a lot of similarities. Nice performance Hong. Very fluid 💪
That’s a pretty good XiaoJia, Wu lineage. You do great Baji. Do you watch videos from Coach TangQiang or Wu Dawei or Zhang Mei? They are excellent Bajiquan practitioners as well
Hi It's good to see you again :) Yes I watched Zhang Mei from recommend channel, and remembered she did very well! I'll watch TangQiang and Wu Dawei too. :)

Hi Hong, I was watching some of your previous films and said to myself, it would be nice to see some single movement training. And here you are, doing just that and looking focused too. Good work 💪
Hello Lee. :) I'm glad that my movie makes you hit the spot! And always thank you for rooting me :)
@ in my opinion, it’s the single movement training and the holding of specific postures that are most important in Baji training. Nice to see your technique Hong. 😊

Did you learn from the BajiShu online school? I was looking into it and the Kung Fu subreddit sang its praises.
I see. Yes I also saw the channel in UA-cam, and they taught well. For me, I'm learning various kinds of Kungfu(taichi, bajiquan and other traditional kungfu) from my sifu, ADKF.
@@HongsStory Ah ok. I assume that's a federatrion? No need to tell me, just thinking to myself haha.

I learned that one a long time ago, but I forgot about it. It's good because you can do it with a sword too.
Hi again :) You also learned this movement too! If you have any movie that you learned, then I think you can make it again, because I believe your body is still memory it. And I hope I can do it with a weapon someday. :)
Hello Hong. That’s an interesting form you’ve shown there. We have a similar form, although considerably longer, in my style. It’s only known as the linking receiving form. Thank-you for sharing 😊
Hello Lee :) Thank you for enjoying my video! It's amazing that there is something similar to what I learned. When I see things like this, I feel that using your body is connected as one!
@ anyone who practices Baji has a connection through Wu Zhong. The style is irrelevant. The theory is all the same and because of that we are all connected in practice. 😊
@@leegravett4966 Wow that's cool. :) Yes, I totally agree with your opinions! Our body mechanism is connected to one things, and the style is secondary.
@ that’s why when we see someone practicing the same or similar to us, we feel a familiarity for them and what they’re doing. I’m glad you agree Hong. 😊

All these are from Bodhidharma Tamil Kanchipuram Pallava Dynasty. Bajiquan is originally Tamil martial arts.
Notice the good stances ? Not super fast and sloppy. Solid stances. Looks like some Piqua is in her system.
Thank you for your words! :)
Second your assessment that she has solid basics. And yes, Bajiquan has Pigua mixed in, from the beginning. Pigua is older than Bajiquan and the founder Wu Zhong most likely was exposed to this style, since it’s from the same place. Later generations of the Wu family and other disciples also had a lot of exchange with Pigua masters or learned the system additionally. Baji and Pigua pretty much go hand in hand.
@@Livingtree32 Wow :) you know Bajiquan and Pigua history very well! Thank you for let me know in detail.
