Hope your eye gets better very soon. My mum used to bathe eyes in cold milk 🙂 Your shawl looks lovely, lovely colour combination. I loved making mine although the twisted rib hurt my fingers. Never thought to do it plain, like you !! Still haven't blocked mine, don't know where I can, table isn't big enough 🤣. You've done really well with the cross stitch, no one will know about any mistakes . Don't forget, conjunctivitis is very infectious xxx

My Dad’s family is British and his family’s go to for eyes is a cool tea bag. The Tannic Acid in the tea is the key. Feels good too. And …. a tea bath is wonderful for sunburns, soothes the sunburn and gives a nice tint too. 😊

A bush tea(rooibos) warm teabag on your eye will do wonders

This wasn’t a boring vlog at all and I hope your eye gets better soon. The shawl and colours is gorgeous. I always enjoy a bit of car vlogging and seeing Danny. I live down south and we had a storm last night and some flooding around our town. We were ok, but lost our satellite connection for quite a while! 😊

Hope your eye gets better soon. Yoyr giraffe looks fantastic. I used to have a tortoise as a pet when I was younger. He was passed down through the cousins. He was called Fred, until we passed him down and they took him to a vet and found that he was actually a she 😅

I like the new weekly format 😊 So good to see the pupper doing so well, she's amazing! I tried cross stitch a few times but it wasn't for me. I love seeing what people make though. At least with the bigger car you can fit Danny's football gear, a craft project or two, snacks, a couple of kids, and any bits and bobs you need from the store in one trip 😁

I started the Steven West ssal. I loved the first one. Did the second part. But I don't like knitting socks in the flat. So I have pulled back the heel,, I am going to finish it off and a fingerless glove. Then do another one to make a pair, wish me luck.

Loving the vlog format and you don’t need to worry about it being too long. I used to cross stitch years ago and I am resisting having a go again as I have enough knitting materials around the house without adding more crafty bits and pieces 😂

I’ve always thought it must be quite easy but seeing your describing and pics of how all the stitches meld together I can see how tricky it must be to follow pattern.
