Hi Alex thank you for for your in depth tutorial. You have inspired me to make a pair of socks for my daughter, just waiting on my contrast yarn driving. I like the magic loop way of knitting, one of your tutorials helped me to get the hang of that method. Thanks Alex, take care Xxx
Thank you so much Alex! I finally figured out how to knit the Shadow Wrap heel by your wonderful tutorial. By the way I LOVE all your emojis and your fun energy!
Hi Alex ... I am a new knitter and new to your channel. Thanks you so much for the free pattern and great tutorial. I can honestly say that I can't wait to start my first pair of socks. Thanks so much
Hi Alex thank you for a very informative podcast. I learnt a lot. Kitchener stitch is named after Lord Kitchener who wanted socks that didn’t make the troops feet sore in the boots. He came up with Kitchener stitch 😘😘😘
Have you deliberately chose sock monkey colours 😂. I might well try this, I can knit but if I go wrong or drop a stitch it flies across the room. Thank you 👍
Hey Alex, I knit socks using 9" circulars. Would i be able to knit the heel on 2 dpns then join and continue with the 9"? I'm a beginner knitter & that's how I learned to knit the heel flap, turn & gusset. Thanks Sarrita!
Yes absolutely! That's how I do it when I'm using 9inch circulars! Once ypu go back to in the round knitting you will need to go back to the circulars. You could flip between the 2 but you may have a gauge issue (9 inch circulars tend to have a looser gauge than u normally knit) but experiment and try! 🥰xx
Alex. I am knitting along with you but I struggle with the join can you demonstrate how that join tightens up after a few rounds. Thanks
You just pull it snug like I kept doing in the video ☺️ xx
