Oh my word , Alex!! What a fantastic video. I am in live with everything!! You even had me going and looking at Woolwarehouse at the sock yarn!!! My promise to myself thus year was to stash bash and only purchase my advent calenders which I have done. I gave myself a slap on the wrist and said no I'm not buying, even on sale!!!😂😂😂. I might relent a bit on some of the lively yarns you are bringing out tomorrow on top of this month's advent. Time will tell. Keep the videos coming and I do hope Danny's burns are healing well. ❤❤❤❤
Yes his hand is much better! 🥰 I know what you mean about stash busting it was my plan this year but...........it sort of went out the window I'm currently the proud owner of 5 new socks yarn from my yarny corner and 8 Yarns from wool warehouse and of course there absolutely nothing in my stash for the Christmas jumper were doing so a trip to boyes is pending 🙈 oh dear knit faster!! 🙈🤣🤣🤣xx

I didn’t think I’d be able to watch your podcast this month Alex because we had to let our little cat go last week, he was 18 and unwell and his time had come, and I thought I wouldn’t want to see yours. But it was lovely to see Polly and Stuart so that was great. I bought the Gemstones pattern as soon as it came out so I’m heading over to look at the Yarnsmiths yarn! I am so very sorry. Its such a difficult thing to have to say goodbye to our furbabies isn't it we love them dearly and saying goodbye is heartbreaking. As you know we lost Tilly a couple of years ago and I still miss her - I take comfort in the memories she gave me and Oreo too! Oreo was such a diva!! It's all so very raw still I imagine and just want to send you a big cuddle. I'm sure he had such a happy life with you and 18 wow! I bet he had you wrapped around his little paw 🥰 take comfort in ypur happy memories ♥️ sending you love xx Make sure to get some yarn smiths yarn it's so soft!! Lovely to see you and your makes. The only experience of a hamster I’ve had was when my son 9yrs old at the time (now 38 🙈) volunteered to have the school hamster during the summer holidays the longest 6 weeks petrified it would escape or worse, we have cats ! It did return to school in September 😂
When mine were younger my eldest volunteered to look after the class pet - except nobody thought to tell me! I went to collect him at pick up time totally unaware - I had my youngest in the buggy and had walked to school where I was presented with a giant African Land snail and tank!! How I got it home in one piece I still don't know 🤣🤣xx
Oh I used to have a dwarf hamster. She was a sweet pet. She fell off the couch arm one time and knocked herself out. Freaked me out. She was fine though. Mine changed color a little but I think being indoors at an even temp messes up the color changing. B Love your new sock pattern!! 💙🧦💙
Aw sometimes Annie falls off her little shelf in the cage amd that freaks me out! Yes I think as she get climatised to she maybe won't chamge as much next year? It did freak me out though! Xx

I hope Dannys hand isxokay, burns can be painful.I missed it unfortunately because my daughter had to go into hospital. I love all your projects. I love your Gemstone sock , both versions. Also like the idea of the Nana socks. Your shawls are fab too, I have the changing staircases pattern. Your knit group sounds fab, your blanket is looking goid too. I joined a knit/crochet group too and I really enjoy it. Thanks for the reminder of Sandra's pattern, my Granddaughter is wanting me to make a blanket in squares for her and this will be perfect. I have recently started doing cross stitch again too , I feel that it's l8ke colouring in with thread. Your caravan is lovely. I love tge Peter Rabbit but I have enough to be doing at the moment. I subscribe to Black sheep wools too, love th3 idea of the CAL but like you I might get the pattern and do later on. Maybe you could run a wee CAL on your fb group later on rather than overwhelming yourself with all your WIPs . I have just finished The Lovenote knit a long with Black Sheep 😅 I live a KAL/CAL too. Don’t worry about breaking the wip limit , I’ve always got at least 15wips, and I’m always upset about it!!😂😂I am lining up the autumn bloom by Caitlin hunter, and a cardigan from Anna Johanna new book! I did scrap two garment projects, one I just gave the yarn away, and one I put the yarn in stash cause it’s just too nice. I am almost finished with one jumper cause I took it out of closet and kept it out!! That’s really what I have to do, cause if I work on everything a tiny bit nothing will get finished. I did write down something like the order I’d like to work on them!! I’m hopeless😂😂
It's a constant battle isn't it! It doesn't help that naughty designers bring out gorgeous patterns so often 🙄 I mean come on!! What are we supposed to do!! 🤣 we will just plod on and do what we can and accept the never ending wip pile is not going to change anytime soon 🤣xx

Maybe she's a chameleons!! 😂🐹 Managing to do a bit more knitting, but can't do too much crochet. Which is annoying as my crochet hexagon cardigan is shouting that it wants to be finished! But my eleven , going on twenty, year old granddaughter is crocheting. She's using lots of my acrylic DK yarn scraps and odd balls held with a white to make herself a blanket. I'm teaching her new stitches as she goes along, so it's fun and I am, so, so proud of her. 😇 So the new sock yarn you got, is it really good? But Jane you don't need any, but Alex says it's so soft and squishy and would make you some lovely socks AND it's on offer!😂 My internal conversation. Have a fab month, my friend. xxJane 🐑🌼

I'm really enjoying knitting the smaller shawls I need to knit a stack of them so I have plenty to choose from 🤣 oh he's such a pain asking for a cardigan already!! I have only just knit his jumper! He's also asking for a pair of leggings like mine!! He will never wear them! I only wear mine in the house obviously 🤣xx

Maybe since you always have socks on the go they shouldn't count as a whip 😊. Also, Jana at Finish Knitting Stories says blankets don't count as whips. I apologize if I spelled her name wrong. Hope this helps enable you. 😂😂
