Thankypu love the cowl 😁 he's better today than he was last week but this time he managed to actually pull a muscle 😬 he's OK just limping a little! Xx
Hi Alex & Danny, your trip to the shop was lovely, it really looked fabulous inside. You picked up a great pattern and the sock yarn looks really nice. I love you cowl 💖 Have a wonderful weekend x
It amazes me how much they fit in to the shop in Shipley. Because I’m not supposed to be buying yarn I haven’t been to either of the shops recently. I window shop in the Saltaire one sometimes on my walks and stop myself going in 🤣
I’ll be honest Alex I’m not much of a one for bright colours but I love you cowl, it has come together so well, you might have converted me! Love both of the patterns, I wanted to buy a jumper like the cream one recently but they’d sold out. Take care both of you, I hope you’re not in too much pain tomorrow Danny! Xx
You me I'm all for the brights although just lately I have been enjoying pastels as much! Hoping he's not aching tomorrow aswell he has yarn dying to do!! 🤣🤣xx
Thankyou! Been the the little craft house this morning got myself another hedgehog!! And a turtle 😍 I was told they were made by Alice if you happen to know her (not sure if she attends when u do) but if ypu do please tell her I love them 😍xx
@myyarnycorner I do indeed know Alice she makes amazing things I will let her know. I was hoping you would come tomorrow it's my craft and chat morning so would of been there. I'm looking Forward to seeing your blog later. 🥰
@tracycarroll-gauci6061 please do tell her I adore them! I have had the pink hedgehog in my car all this time and now I have another to add to the collection! And turtle!! Wait to you see it it was made for me! Aw if I had known we would have come tomo! Xx
@myyarnycorner I know I'm a day behind watching the blogs I have been on operation clear out at home. We have furniture coming on Saturday so had to sort out my very extensive yarn stash to may way 🤦♀️. I'm sure we will meet up one day we do go to the same places 🤣😂🤣😂
Alex your cowl is just fabulous. Your Joinery looks great also , I suggested the Linendale and then went and bought a totally different yarn !!!! why ??? mine turned out to be too dense and was gobbling yarn like a dish clothe , yours has much more drape. It's now frogged and I'm knitting the Magna Flora by Alisa Hartzel, it suits the yarn better. I can't wait to see and hear your thoughts when you finish the joinery and then I might copy you x
I'm so pleased you suggested it! I only bought one ball of each colour because I was so unsure of the yarn but it's fab! It's very very loose which I found a bit wierd at first but the pattern is the same so I'm guessing that's the designers intention. Just picked it up today while I have my morning coffee so it's my project this weekend - must say I'm a bit unsure how to join these panels together!! 🤣xx
Thank you for taking us to that yarn shop, I'd have been in my element!! I found your comments interesting on our knew knitting projects, I am using the same yarn in my knitting project and it took me a while to get used to it. Was your book a film released or series, I am terrible with names xxx
Yes I know u are and we were talking about your beautiful project at knit group! We were all saying we wanted to make yours!! The book is The Passenger by Will Dean (not sure its a series or anything) it was probably the best book I have ever read - if you like thrillers then it's a fab book 🥰 what's the pattern number of your project I'm really wanting to make it after mine! Xx
Oh yes do go say hi there is also the little craft house at saltaire - just a little further down the road and that is fabulous too! I have just been there this morning xx
Here in the States at least, the book you’re reading is called The Last One by Will Dean. It looks like they changed the name from The Last Passenger when the paperback came out.
What a fab yarn shop, wow !!
Your cowl is great, great colours together.
Good luck with the football Danny
