I think the beauty of it is that we all knew inherently that humanity couldn't lose the war. That would be an unsatisfying end, and so many games/movies fall into the trap of making that the stakes. We know humanity won't lose, but, while a legendary warrior, Master Chief is just a man and could die. Hence posing all of this as a memorial to him. We didn't know what would happen to John, and that was the real pull of the story.

I will always remember the events happen during WW2 when Germany invades Poland, Norway, Denmark, France, Belgium, Netherlands. Pacific war also happen too when Japan invades Korea, Northern China, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam. Some battles happens like Battle of Stalingrad, Siege of Lenigrad, Battle Of Moscow, Battle Of Iwo Jima, Battle Of Okinawa, Battle Of Seelow and Battle Of Berlin. When this Battle Of Berlin happens in April 1945, Germany had no chance because their defence of soliders is total of 85,000 while the Soviet invaders have a 2.5 million. And thats why Germany got defeated

Ah yes. Cold war actually started when Germany was split into 2 after WW2

For the plasma pistol when you said "I don't get what this weapon does still" ... I don't think it's back seating since I'm 1 month late to these videos, so I think I'm safe but don't read past this sentence if not haha. But basically, the plasma pistol is ESSENTIAL on Legendary difficulty as that charged shot you did fully takes out shields of enemies with 1 shot. So vs Elites it's very effective cause once you remove their shields, they can die in 1 headshot and when you take so much damage and there's tons more enemies on legendary, the plasma pistol becomes one of the best weapons in the game XD
