Hello Commanders! I will absolutely be posting the video of my playthrough of the alternate endings, I just have to finish the edit :) Expect it in a couple days time. Thanks for watching!
Its important to mention that two of the Mass Effect 4 trailers have stuff from Mass Effect Andromeda in them, and that the developers of Mass Effect 4 have said (repeatedly) that Mass Effect 4 will tie in story elements from both Mass Effect trilogy AND Mass Effect Andromeda. While ME: Andromeda does have some issues, I enjoyed it a lot overall and it has the best combat of all the games too. You might want to look into playing it before Mass Effect 4 so you don't miss out on some important things the new game may tie into.
Exodus looks great, and it also has Drew Karpyshyn as the writer, who was the main writer for Mass Effect and Biowares Star Wars games Knights of the Old Republic. That said its important to mention that its not the entire mass effect team, only some of them. Some of the original mass effect people are in fact working on the Mass Effect 4 team.
@@suddenimpulse030 Good to know that some of the originals are still there. However, after Andromeda, Anthem and Veilguard, I don't expect the next game to suddenly be good.
As you listen it is a history of humans in space, early NASA missions, to first contact with the Turians, joining the council, the launch of one of the Andromeda missions Ark ships the battle with the Reapers over earth and then the ship flies into the frame.
@@LUCYJROBYN Yeah, there are hints in the trailers and in graphics released that it will also link to Andromeda. They've also been in PRE-production until just now (late 2024) so anything we've learned could end up tossed out the airlock.
I remember watching this live. I almost burst into tears as soon as I heard ‘ArcturusStation right near the beginning. It’s always fun to see at what point reactors realised it was Mass Effect.
The N7 teaser was very interesting in many ways. The music itself is cut from about 7 different tracks from the Trilogy and a new riff. This trailer was given out in small quick snippets through an ARG format. But in that ARG there were many hidden recordings and secrets. So we got to hear Liara talking to a Geth, talking about the council and human defiance. Interestingly, it also talks about receiving a distress signal and it’s dated when Andromeda initiative reached Andromeda so the Milky Way has some knowledge or contact with Andromeda. A bunch of the audio and text hints were dated far into the future. In a poster also released there is a scene from a bar where you can see multiple species. What appears to be Liara with what looks like a Geth bodyguard and she’s being spoken to by an Angara. These all highly suggest that it is set 600 years into the future and the Milky Way and Andromeda have been bridged.
Now imagine this, after playing Phantom Liberty, you get the N7 day video which also had a spy thriller vibe. I got goosebumps. Also they posted a lot more cryptic stuff and there's a lot of videos about it. I recommend MrHulthen's video, the latest "Full N7 day Breakdown" if you want to learn more.

The barrels or crates or whatever they are behind that N7 character are white, with orange lights, almost certainly meant to invoke thoughts of Cerberus. Maybe some kind of N7 Infiltrator walking through a Cerberus facility? Based on the teasers and stuff we've got so far, there's a popular theory that the next game will be less high-stakes where and more of a ground-level type of thing where instead of saving the whole galaxy maybe we have to deal with the fallout and the power vacuum of a broken galaxy and stuff. Maybe some kind of espionage thriller. There was a video that was also released of a Mass Relay being built, with a date stamp of 11/7/90. Now, assuming that's 2190, ME 3 was set in 2186, so that would mean the new game is set about 4 years after the events of ME 3.
In my last ending of mass effect 3 when pick destroy the reapers my shepherd lives so thay can bring him back but probably not as main character but as an hero at the end to save the day
3:30 Lucy flabbergasted at the short trailer "I'm starving over here" Meanwhile we O.G. Mass Effect fans have been in cryostasis longer than Javik. 😋 Wake us up when ME 5 arrives.
If you like Mass Effect, you should try the Horizon series, which is also a Bioware-style cinematic action RPG, (with dialogue wheels, choose-your-own-story, too many side-quests and distractions, etc.) I personally consider Horizon as a "spiritual successor" to Mass Effect. The overall stories and structures of Horizon games are very similar to Mass Effect, but there are enough differences to make Horizon feel different and fresh, yet also a little familiar. Horizon is also planned to be a trilogy, and so far there are two games in the series.
With everything being so crazy today, I almost missed this! I still think the N7 agent gives me Jack vibes. But it's not her. Notice the Pathfinder helmet 👀
Mass Effect Andromeda, while doesn't quite live up to any of the trilogy, should be *enough* to hold you over, should you need a fix! Happy N7 Day! (rocked my N7 hoodie to work today as well)
It was a little bit disappointing to not have any updates on the game today, but ok. Maybe VGA will fix this hole, just like it did back in 2020! Instead we have updates about ME TV series by Amazon, it's happening 😮 Happy N7 Day 🥳 Hope to see your Andromeda walkthrough in the future
So far the only n7 news I’ve seen has been announcers of some staff for the mass effect series on amazon. One of the writers is best known for some of the fast-furious stuff. So…. Hm.
Happy N7 Day! No crumbs for us today 😢 and this game is literal years away, but excited for it none the less! Any plans to play Andromeda at some point? Don't believe all the hate, I think it's a pretty good game. Does it live up to the trilogy? No.. But that was an impossible task. Combat in Andromeda is great fun! Some of the characters are super interesting, and if you can separate it from the original ME, then I think you'll enjoy it! Looking forward to your reaction vid on the endings 🥳🥳
The planet that Liara was seen walking on, heard that it might be the same snow planet that the first Normandy crash on and that N7 part she picked up was from a N7 helmet. The mysterious N7 treachcoat wearing figure, heard a rumor that it might not be the new protagonist but the antagonist. As for Shepard, the way I see it, they shouldn't bring Shepard back especially if this game takes places centuries after ME3. If Shepard did die at the end of ME3, then he/she should stay dead. If Shepard did survive, then he/she should just retire and settle down with his/her lover and live out the rest of his/her life in peace because after everything he/she been though and the heartbreaking choices that he/she was forced to make during the trilogy, he/she deserved it.
I agree, I feel like Shepard's story was concluded pretty well regardless of which ending you picked. Would love to see some new characters but in all honesty... if I saw Shepard back I'd be pretty hyped too hahah. I feel the same about the next Witcher game, I don't think it should follow Geralt.
Lots of people like Veilguard, including long time fans of Dragon Age that played each dragon age game on launch and many times after. You should also realize that the Mass Effect team is made of different people, and several of them are from the original Mass Effect trilogy. The head writer for Mass Effect 4 also has a very good track record, but I am going to take a wild guess you didn't research any of this before posting this comment.
@@suddenimpulse030 So long time fans who's mass refunded the game taking a loss if they got it on consoles are happy? Dragon Age was a dark fantasy game now turned into a Disney Lite fantasy? Unfortunately Bioware (Mostly thru Activision tbh) have done serious damage to their brand/reputation the last 5-7 years so I can't say that I'm all that hopeful for another ME game. This trailer was just throwing fans a bone after all the criticism of Andromeda, which is a decent game taken on its own, but it doesn't stand up the original series in storytelling, and that's coming from someone who's played thru the game at least 3 times. I will be happy to be proven wrong if they ever manage to ship another ME game. Edit... I've never seen that second clip but my comments still stand - that give us nothing. N7-day has become an event for just blowing smoke for a game they haven't written or planned out at all, and now with all their endless failures and departures, may not have the capability to deliver at all. Will BioWare even survive Veilguard, to try to do anything anymore? Unclear. Exodus is what I'm waiting for, to continue the spiritual progression of good science fiction games - since I'll be surprised if ME:5 ever gets delivered or is any good at all...

Hi Lucy. After the DA Veilguard fiasco, I'm not holding my breath though I'm still hopeful that the managers and devs in charge take a lesson and start giving the community what it wants: a proper AAA sequel to ME3, not a caricaturized version of Mass Effect with bad writing, horrible dialogues and ugly characters. @@supergirlvideoclips894 Hey hey, this wasn't an attack. I wanted to like the game so much! I guess it's just a massive step down in writing quality from the dark mature fantasy of past BioWare. I hope you get to do Mass effect andromeda before Mass effect 5 comes out, its the last Mass Effect Game you got left to do, i know people got mixed feelings about the game but nothing a few mods to fix the problems (like unskippable landing and take-off scenes and teammates not being as good as they should, a certain door taking 5 business days to open, and so on, but im sure you can look up reccomened mods, if you plan to download mods to fix the problems, not like it be cheating anyways, meer fixes) But do give the game a try, it be worth it atleast once. I prefer calling it ME4 since Andromeda was a side-step and the next one appears to be a direct continuation of the original arc, or at least that's what they're hinting with Liara, etc. Noticed the silhouette of a dead Repear in the background as Liara was making her way up the mountain?
The devs for ME4 post on twitter on occasion, and they have said a few times that ME4 will tie into both the original Mass Effect trilogy and Andromeda. Just a heads up, it was a reasonable assumption to make if you didn't know about that though. Theres also a fwe Andromeda hints in these trailers, and in one of the concept arts you see an alien from Andromeda in it. So I imagine they will "merge" in some fashion.

Veilguard is very good. Just because it received few negative reviews doesn't means it bad. It received majority strong reviews. And don't call it paid. It's easy to say paid just because they don't agree with you and also paying for review is illegal in America
@@supergirlvideoclips894 Hey hey, this wasn't an attack. I wanted to like the game so much! I guess it's just a massive step down in writing quality from the dark mature fantasy of past BioWare. It feels like a low-tier Marvel movie to me and there no narrative decisions you can make like before.
I'm allowed to be critical of something I've purchased.
@@igoriksanov9539 Lots of people like Veilguard, including long time fans of Dragon Age that played each dragon age game on launch and many times after. You should also realize that the Mass Effect 4 team is made of different people, and several of them are from the original Mass Effect trilogy. The head writer for Mass Effect 4 also has a very good track record.
Unfortunately Biowares last three games have all been pretty bad. So I have no hope for this if I'm honest. But fingers crossed it isn't dog shit.
Except Veilguard is amazing
Veilguard is amazing 👏
I’m happy to see so many people loving it, I really enjoyed the couple of hours I played but decided to go back and play the originals before going any further!
You are a hater. I love all mass effect games. Stop playing them.
I hope you get to do Mass effect andromeda before Mass effect 5 comes out,
its the last Mass Effect Game you got left to do, i know people got mixed feelings about the game but nothing a few mods to fix the problems (like unskippable landing and take-off scenes and teammates not being as good as they should, a certain door taking 5 business days to open, and so on, but im sure you can look up reccomened mods, if you plan to download mods to fix the problems, not like it be cheating anyways, meer fixes)
But do give the game a try, it be worth it atleast once.
(if it does come out after the recent Bioware drama)
I will
@@LUCYJROBYN have fun, but if you do play it with mods (that only fix issues that where never fixed for some reason), it be best to look up or ask for reccomendations, i think old posts reccomend mods that are basically just QoL type mods.
But im gonna assume your gonna see how it goes without the QoL mods, at first anyways
Yeah, this teaser was great. However, on the evidence of DA: Veilguard, this game is gonna suck so bad!
err...was this not shown before?
This is my first time watching, since I only finished the game recently
We all, as a community, need to take a breath and put the copium bottles down. BIOWARE IS GONNA GET SHUT DOWN by the end of this fiscal year. This N7 Day is just an extra bit of confirmation that a lot of fans still refuse to accept. Expect news on this no later than late January 2025.
whatever you say!
@@LUCYJROBYN You'll owe me an honest shoutout on your SM if I'll end up being right, yes? Thank you in advance.
Kindly, someone who has been in this community for years and a massive fan of the studio, pre 2013. :)
Sure!😂 Haha I honestly don't mind what you think is gonna happen dude, but if people wanna be excited about a new game, just let them :) There's so much bullshit going on in the world, but this brings me joy. So I'm just gonna enjoy it, regardless of what may or may not happen.
@@LUCYJROBYN oh, if only backtracking were an Olympic sport... ♥️ I'll hold you to it.
u must be fun at parties
Where is Halo 3? Hey, ill do you one better, WHO is Halo 3? ILL do YOU ONE BETTER, WHY IS HALO 3?
