Its just sad that any sorc build that can do ower 96 pit, is gatekept behind a unoptanium neck. Litterally opened amulet chests for 1 month,. just got 2 amulets that is ok with lowest dev blaze roll. And that is not really viable for a good lightnings spear build, just ok for a fireball build.

First Light Sorc build since D1. Mate always went LS so went other builds. My LS BL build has gone through more changes than any other build, since D1. So glad to see your LS BL clocking up some decent damage numbers. Solo build and will continue to push that way. Thanks for encouragement that a LS BL build can get up there. Like you vids as you talk at a normal pace, not 100 miles an hour.

What about using a sword and focus, instead of a staff, and use conceited aspect on the focus?

am almost going ok with this build. thanks for the motivation. for now am caping 15 billion but not always. I have an advice: piranhado is better... that bring all enemies and you dont need the chest unique. am using shroud mytic chest with piranhado and am doing more damage.

I somehow do zero dmg with this build I cant seem to die, wich is nice.. but it takes forever to kill anything

Help me please I'm testing the build and sometimes in the pit all hits are overpower and I just destroy everything but most times when I enter the pit only very few are overpower am I missing something?

All that witchcraft stuff is so easy to farm....even if you cant do dps you join a group and the group will kill everything for you and you just run around....i have all of them at 20 and have 20k extra....just gotta be efficient on your farming....

Your temper recommendations on armor have "Chance to Freeze", and the Static Surge board spends up to the Paralyzing rare node (damage to stunned). There is a temper specifically for stun, but am wondering if the "Chance to Freeze" temper is also applying a stun ..... if so, that would seem to make the stun temper redundant. Can you please clear this up, or recommend an update for the guide?

Aaaah! What did they do to Sorc?! Just started playing one to take a break from my druid, and I can't kill anything in hard. Started at level 23 with some whisper caches and tried the seasonal start quest in gea kul. Nope, just got wasted. Ok let's try just open world at level 30 with more caches. Nope, still getting wrecked. Rahier does more damage.

lol necro is blasting easily in 150 with an ultimate(!!!) skill that cools down immediatly(!!!!) with blood orbs and the build has ONLY ONE unique item: Blizzard: YAWN. Sorc has ONE BUILD with mythic unique req which needs specific circumstances to farm for days for it to work? Blizzard: PANIC!!! SIRENS, ALERT ALERT. NERF. NERF NOW

I found another focus that dropped in a dungeon (dont find on boss tables), called Strike of Stormhorn. As rarely as it drops, and not from a boss, it seems poorly implemented for ball lightning. You mentioned it briefly at beginning. What's your opinion about it?

I feel sorc is perfect in terms of gear progression as every piece of gear upgrade is meaningful whereas barb and necro relies on a hyper inflated number crunch without needing much gear

Loving this build, even though it’s not amazing, but then no Sorc builds really are, lol. Just two quick questions. Why no Three Curses Aspect or Adept Glyph? I am guessing it’s because they don’t apply to Meteorites but I just wanted to check in and be sure. And also won’t the Ton rune be good for this build, or does it not copy the Meteorite buffs? Or is it simply not better than the multiplicative damage from Ohm? Thanks!

/sigh When is chain lightning gonna get a chance to shine? I swear this season’s theme is % chance to do double damage. If the ability doesn’t have that it’s trash.

Just goes to show how terrible this class is currently it’s weak af even with BIS gear at 12/12. They hyped up ball lightning this season and it’s so weak it’s unplayable
