I have played most the popular builds this season on all classes but necro. This is about the best. Just melts T8 and pit. Had the gear for the uber build. A lot of fun to play.

But damn the shako made LS hybrid insane. ;) was playing CL i love CL ngl, but I kinda hit a wall and then I got a shako so now I switched to LS and damn bruh ;) . Can’t wait for 2.0 it seems like d4 is getting better and better. How is farming in nightmare dungeons now? I mean they give materials right? I think right now on live it’s not the easiest to get materials. Does it seem better on ptr? And the glyph levelling I hate it on live… So hopefully this change will make that better. This familiar skill seems amazing. Plus the passive evocation ❤️
@Lurkin17 When the season starts are you going to update the build link with the current paragon and equipment. Seems this video is different from what is in the build guide. Also, why not put 5 points in the Ultimate?
Yeah it’s just a PTR build I redid the board after I filmed it. Also don’t have 300 paragon points lol. If I’m using orange herald I don’t need 5 points in the skill. All more points in Ultimate does is reduce the cooldown. I have orange herald

@Lurkin, do you happen to know if the Chain Lightning enchantment is working properly or not in the live game? I’ve been working on an Axial Conduit Ball Lightning build and wanted to use CL enchantment. I should be casting 1 CL for every 2 BL, and I’m only ever getting 1 or 2 CL total.
@@Lurkin17I tested it again on the training dummies, it does circle you and drain mana for the explosion. I was just wondering why I’m only getting 2 or 3 CL’s total. I’m talking about spamming BL to cast a CL. I don’t mean the mana drain to cast a CL.
yeah i am a fan. I don't feel like I am throwing by grabbing damage reduction nodes and forgoing damage. the damage is just there with the 5 glyphs, and you can take other random QOL stuff
They really messed with the difficulty. We still dont have all our power so I really dont think this should be possible. It seems fun though, I hope the pit is better now, I like the idea but those boss where just boring. Im still excited cause they usually miss on the first try, take feedback and not only solve the problems but solve it in a unique way the community didnt think about
Weaker than pure LS on live. About the same strength on PTR. pure spear got kneecapped a bit with the Conj Mastery cap. We are clearing T100 faster because it bosses faster. Operator otter used a similiar setup and did a T100 with over 4 minutes left with frozen orb
Honestly these were not easy. I know it looked easy but I literally failed 20 times before this. My glyphs are basically maxed. I’ve been grinding my glyphs up straight since release. This wasn’t as easy as it looked to get here. I think intelligence is bugged and granting double bonus. If that goes away it still won’t be S easy. Also remember splintering is giga busted and overpowered. All in all pits felt amazing. The difficulty was good. The process of leveling glyphs was very good and I could feel the power increases per tier as I leveled them. Pits are in a really good spot. Trust me. Worst case scenario they add 10 tiers
I don’t think they can increase difficulty too much. My tune will change once I get access to runes. I think the difficulty is fine because I am showcasing one of the strongest builds in the game. But what about for fireball? Or ice shards? Or B tier barb builds? They shouldn’t make it too much harder because glyph upgrade is tied to tier level above your glyphs. They just need to add 20 more tiers
Looks actually alright now with the pit scaling I dig it.. next big issue the point of seasonal content and events .. I think they need way more shit going for seasonal stuff and have unique items or rune words only available in seasonal content to take back to eternal realm so u can continue ur build and fun with out feeling like deleting ur character evey season or ur just wasting ur time .. d2 had it down fairly well.. and PvP need some love like a lot of love and itemization needs some help.. pointless items no use just screen clutter white blue yellow and some skills only have one aspect still since the game launched ..
You need more ranks of conjuration mastery, and Starless of course. I have 9 ranks of conjuration mastery on my amulet and I can hold Frozen Orb down and never go oom.
Like mcarr and web said. Starless and ranks to conj mastery. The better attack speed you have, the more conj you make. More conj and more CM ranks gives stupid mana regen. You def want to hit ranks to CM twice at least on Winterglass
I can see the Glyph upgrade "chance" pissing me off (like the rolls on the gear does now) when it keeps failing. Not sure i am going to be happy with this game much longer if the keep making things a roll chance on everything. Also not happy they are basically forcing you to do the pit. Seems they just got annoyed that nobody was playing it and found a way to make people actually play a not so exciting part of the game.
Lmfao they make a huge deak about the stat squish but then you are gaining all that power back and then some in paragon...almost 1k crit damage from destruction glyph! Like really what was the point???

I know it's subjective but that D3 gameplay loop in Pits dosen't sound fun at all at least to me. I believe there are some videos about D3 why GR didn't succeed in the end. First of all there is zero dopamine no loot until u get to the boss so it's like a job u need to kill mobs on the way without any rewards and that's the problem. This concept is overall the opposite to the main reason why people play this type of games I can recommend watching video with Chris Wilson about designing PoE for better uderstanding why Diablo 2 is still a thing till this day. Geatekeeping is a bad thing in general I can imagine how awful it's gonna be with seasonal mechanics - instead of having fun with whatever mechanic in the game u will be stuck with glyphs leveling in boring pits. I don't get it why glyphs couldn't be leveled up naturally like your experience bar - just socket the glyph and go do most fun activity for you and get the XP it's a win win situation.
The grind was ok. I think it’s a bit too steep and we don’t get enough upgrade chances per run. 5 glyphs and only 4 upgrades that go +1 once it gets tough at 70% or less chance is dumb
It is nice to see they balanced between Mobbing and Boss, much more reasonable and fun now
It felt so much better!!! I felt like I was fishing for good mobs instead of good bosses. Which is great because you find those out earlier

Hilariously enough there is value in GA Armor Shako now especially if you want to run tyraels and tibaults lol

CL enchant does not work with axial conduit in S5 and it will not work in S6 as well

It is more fitting for THE PIT as easier than NMD when compared.. Nightmare Dungeon should be hellist or nighmare in difficulty compared to a PIT...
which build would you recommend leveling with to what level, and at what point could you swap to this frozen orb build?
once you get a winterglass, and probabably esus boots and rasha. Level with incinerate or firewall. Fireball if you get illuminators.

What about dark shroud rune and tempering dmg per shroud?
Overhandling. Take crit to scale splintering. The aspect is too strong to not use, especially with how mobbing is now 2/3rd of the equation

Looks like the only thing that could kill you is an after death effect on the ground, because you won't be able to see it :D
Yeah I play without damage numbers when actually playing or pushing. For vids tho I keep them on so players can see what I’m dealing

I feel the power creep is too high or pit 100 is a joke. Both results are unexciting for me.

It is ptr! They want you to do all the content. They will increase the difficulty accross the game.

the pit progression felt very good before the boosts and runes tbh. Like I was grinding
I know there's only so much they can do but I hate that we generally use the same handful of builds per class every season.
Hence why most people will play spiritbourne
It’s also a symptom of boosts not being live yet
