Great build. You know, I just now getting used to playing the firewall wildfire build and I’m already having a great time not masterworked anything or having any mythical yet. With your update from yesterday that included the flame shield I already took down andariel. Can’t imagine how that build is just B tier rated 😂 love it so much. Will be changing to your s-tier winter glass once I hit all the gear. Thanks again for your work. Makes it all so much more fun.
so its in B because its clunky to play and i dont think it will perform well for farming aether in hordes. its damage is near S tier, but theres more than just damage that goes into my tier list.
I switched to this build from LS and this melts so fast, also less visual clutter. It’s so fun watching the bolts chase the mobs like little fireflies 😂
I was levelling up on tier 4 with Esam staff got great rolls on it and first greater affix ring was 10% resource reduction and tempered another 9.5% with another ring of 9%. I was spamming sparks like crazy. Watching 50 sparks chasing down and ripping through to next one was sheer joy. This build is on par with the lightning strike build. I used this build to farm the council members. Stand in corner and just spam the crap out of the sparks they will search and destroy.

Now we have so many viable things to play with why would I stop at LS? Im buildong fireball with Lucion for now, I wanna push thay build to the limit before I try my next one, and the next one will be defined by the best unique I drop while building my fireball caise everything looks exciting as a sorc main now
Nice work man. I’m playing fireball and the only thing in game that’s a challenge is T8 Horde. Lilith, tormented bosses, T7 light work. I get to the council on one life left and can get 1 shot out of the blue. I keep seeing people wanting warmth tempers but my question is if I die in one-2 hits is it really worth it to have healing per second? I’ve been tempering ice armor duration and only have 1 second difference between duration and CD not including ice blades added CD reduction.
potentially. but they are just a 50% damage boost. i dont see what the lucky hit would do. regular gloves are 30% aspect and then ranks to charged bolts and other stats. regular gloves beat fists on damage
the pants i was using have armor because i use them in other builds that don't use harlequin and need it. some of my pieces are weird sometimes for ease of swapping
I always like running tibaults will + snowveil with ice armor enhancement for almost permanent unstoppable uptime + ~30% damage reduction with masterwork crits.
@@Lurkin17 thats why also like running the "Crits have an x percent chance to reset a defensive skill" as well, but this is on a fireball sorc. I dont have much of a survivabilty problem on tier 8, and it became a breeze after i 12 crit cdr a shako. I got a GA cdr shako last night and cant wait to use it on we masterwork.

unequip ubers. drop down to T7. fucking profit my dude. its charged bolts. the skills been dogshit for how long? Shakos ranks dont do much when the staff can give 16. tyraels is just DR. you can get that out of a fucking soulbrand. starlesses mana cost reduction isnt doing shit for charged bolts when you have resource cost reduction on the staff. the ubers literally aren't doing that much for this build you couldn't get almost as much value elsewhere. you could replace starless with an attack speed splintering ring. replace tyraels wiith a 30% soulbrand. replace shako with a GA cooldown concentration helmet. boom you are welcome :D
@@Lurkin17 i was just joking mate. Uber are a little overhyped atm Sure they can be needed like an andariel but otherwise u dont really need them. I personally play fireball with termerity and soulbrand and youre immortal and can go on every other item and paragon full dps which should work for a lot of other sorc builds accept chainlightning of course
Im struggling in general with the philosophy of naming something a „guide“ and advertising T8 when every single build has at least 3 Ubers. Correct naming for me would be „showcase“. Your last 3 „builds“ it’s just Ubers and „something“
its a t8 guide. you get 3 sparks from the game. you get a boatload of mats. this build (which isn't even a meta build) could do T7s without ubers. which grant stygian stones. which means you can farm the ubers. the game has never been more free. And if you actually watched my frozen orb build, you would have seen I did a T6 in 0/12 upgraded legendary gear with just esus boots and tibualts.
Oh believe me I am aware. This is just what I do man. I cover all the builds. I don't just dick ride the top build and only push that content. I make each skill as good as it can be, even if it lands in B tier. there are 12 people out there who really liike charged bolts and don't care about meta. its for them, and i see it in the comments. There may come a day when charged bolts is top meta, and you better believe ill have the best build because i've specced it for a guide during the dark times for it
Isn’t piercing static needing your entire build since you have soo many charged bolts flying around and all of them besides the very first one are doing 40% less damage? Or is that aspect just worded weird
I could never get into charged bolts or fireball. I don't like how these skills feel. Frozen Orb and Blizzard IMO are more satisfying skills. Lightening spear is my favorite though.

i dont know how to take fireball to the next level. lucion is bugged and does not work with illuminators

I’ve got a crit chance dev blaze amulet you could have it’ll cost a lot to roll conjuration mastery but it’s yours if you want it

i dont like snowveiled if the build does not have 100% uptime on ice armor. I die during the ice armor 2 second gap. it's a no from me dawg

Ill definitely have to try this build though, i got me the 2ga charged bolt staff with a good aspect roll and i was really tempted to try it!

I am building arch lash doing T4. No problem. Just the 3 last bosses takes time. No Uber items. No uniques. Just pure ancestral with 1GA.
i also found arc lash had boss damage issues, despite the buffs. try to get a verathiel
I got a full GA of the staff so I guess I need to make another sorc.

The first enemy hit takes 100% damage, any enemy hit after that point take 60% damage

frozen orb is my favorite hands down. charged bolts is satisfying, albeit it is still lackluster. its come a long way tho. not top meta by any means
It seems that lightning spear is 10x faster and is averaging 40-60 seconds in bosses with your quality of gear and masterworking.
